It was small and quiet, and you really did not know what to expect because, at the time, it was an open area with recliner chairs for the clients. It was so calming, and speaking with a practitioner about your concerns was comforting. There was no rush, and you really felt heard and relaxed there. Once COVID happened, like most businesses, they were not available, and I was looking for that little gem of a place, but found out they had moved down the street and had a new owner. I was very skeptical about going because of my great experience, and it always seems that once new owners take over a business, it's just not the same anymore. Reluctantly, I decided to give it a try at the new location and with the new owner, and I am so delighted that I did. It was the absolute best decision I made for my well-being in a long time. The new place was bigger and had private rooms, unlike the last location. They even added a massage therapist to the practice. All the practitioners are genuinely nice and care about your health journeys and your health goals. Dr. Stephanie and Brad are amazing practitioners; they ask insightful questions about your health goals, offer insightful advice to help you achieve them, and always make sure you feel better after treatment. I have become a complete and total client with the clinic and have learned so much about myself and my healing journey. It is wonderful to actually know that you are heard and seen by someone. I highly recommend this place to people who want to improve their health and are ready to take their health journey in a positive direction.

I find it incredibly helpful to relieve stress and anxiety, in part because I'm just sitting in one spot, literally pinned down :-) and it is quiet/soothing music plays. I think. There are a bunch of big comfy chairs in a communcal room and two private rooms. Fred sold the place and I've only been back once with the new (current) folks but they seemed great too. I should have written this sooner and you shouldn't wait to go! Once someone was snoring real loud in the group room so I bring earplugs or airpods with chill music ready to go. The snoring was kinda soothing in a different way, ha.

I decided to try acupuncture and specifically looked for an acupuncturist trained in China. I had tried acupuncture before for migraines and the Western trained doc didn't help at all but the Chinese trained doc I tried after worked wonders but is now retired. After the first treatment I noticed a significant improvement and after four treatments I was almost 100 percent. It took a while for full recovery because we had to find the cause but we did and I am now without pain and have full mobility. Dr. Ma is kind and gentle and didn't hurt me with the needles. I'm still trying to figure out how a person of her size & stature could manage to produce the amount of pressure she does (I mean this in the best way possible). It's uncanny. She seeks and destroys tension & knots more immediately and affectively than anyone else I've ever experienced. And she somehow does it in the most calm & relaxing manner. A few things jump out at me every time I visit. 1) it feels like she genuinely cares about her clients' well-being 2) she takes pride in her practice; her office is clean, cozy, and chic 3) she's an actual expert/true professional; she employs techniques that make me think she knows things others do not. Lastly, my wife and I both go to Erin regularly. Her and I have very different body types and different needs.
