I get so lost in Tysons Mall so here are directions where to park and easily find it! Make sure you park in the garage on level 3 and enter via the walkway outside the Cheesecake Factory. Now you are on level 2 of the mall. Walk past "Level 99" and Urban Outfitters, turn left. Then you will find the currency exchange kiosk between Abercrombie & Fitch and "Cotton On". It is right above the restaurant "Seasons 52". read more

Currency Exchange International - Currency Exchange location - Currency Exchange Near Me - Tysons Corner, Virginia

This is a little kiosk in Tyson's Corner Mall. It is located on the upper level in the middle of a walkway that connects the two sides of the mall surrounded by openness to the lower level, unfortunately, making it very loud location and hard to hear the cashier. Simple conversion for your money with all the going rates listed. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly & efficient. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! read more

Valentina was professional, courtesy, and efficient Currently was available in a timely manner.

Exchanged currency for multiple trips now with this branch. Quick and friendly service. While rates are not as good as credit card they are fair for cash conversion and allow you to easily convert back if you have leftover foreign currency when you get back. read more

I needed to return the money that u had purchased, so they were very understanding about it. The exchange was a big difference with the bank. read more

CXI - GREAT Buying Experience!! CXI, is the way to go. I had not purchased foreign currency before so I called and spoke with Tiffany in Tyson's Corner Mall. She was so informative, professional and courteous. She gave me business hours and I headed right over..took me 50 mins, but well worth the drive. Tiffany also told me what to bring for a smooth transaction and it was! Very rarely do we come across individuals with such customer service talent! She's the best, and I will recommend CXI to others. Thank you again, Tiffany, for making my first buying experience a great one! Date of experience: July 17, 2025 read more

Summary: Errand complete. Tip: Just above Coastal Flats in Tysons I. Obtained some tip cash for an upcoming cruise quickly and at a competitive rate. Placed order online. Was notified via email within a couple of hours that order for Euro and GBP was complete. Drove over and found that Valentina, the clerk, had already counted out the bills and paper clipped them to a note with my name. Waited about five or ten minutes for a previously arrived customer to be served. Following the completion of my transaction, the personable Valentina and I engaged in pleasant conversation about my travels and her life experiences. Parking was free and convenient at the garage across from Coastal Flats. Did encounter some Tyson's rush hour traffic, but that's an expected part of life in Northern Virginia. Again, errand complete, to the delight of my travel partner, who is an earnest planner. read more

Fast and easy experience. And free parking. Wasn't crazy about the exchange rate though.

Arrived 5pm and no one at venue. Their hours are posted they are open until 7pm. Last night, I tried calling but no answer. They need to hire. read more

There when you need it! Decent rates! Needed to get some Euros day of my trip and they had it in stock (no problemmm) It's the one thing you don't ever think about but when you need it, they gawtttt it read more

I have to say the process of getting foreign currency was pretty easy. You can put in your request via their website and request the amount. If it's something not as common it might take a couple of days before your order is ready for pick up. I got a bit confused I was expecting maybe some sort of small storefront but instead it was sort of like a desk kiosk in the walk way between stores. The rate was pretty reasonable especially if you compare getting money exchanged at an airport. At least this time I'll have cash on arrival. read more

The service was good.the clerk made sure I understood the rate . Convenient location easy to find.

Easy process, and no worrying about getting local currency at the airport or finding a bank! I ordered my Euros online, and picked up at Tysons Corner (Just above Coastal Flats). I also came back and returned any "leftover" Euros back to dollars. Great service! read more

Valentina at the location in Tysons corner center mall is absolutely fantastic! I came in a rush after work to grab Euros. Even though she was about to go on a break, she stayed to help me get my money. she is fast, thorough and efficient. read more

Very easy and positive experience, with reasonable fees. The hardest part was finding the counter in Tysons I mall. If you are going to the Tysons location, park near Coastal Flats and it's on the 2nd floor. read more

This was my first time at this location. I ran into issues with my bank and the transaction when Sherice was so beyond patient with me. I was able to get it all sorted out thankfully and Sherice was there to support and help me get my currency exchange squared away! read more

Horrible, wouldn't accept my foreign currency for exchange , so what's the point? I can't beleive this place

Our exchange request was ready within 2 hours. We chose a mix of Euro and it was a good mix of large and small bills. Very efficient process. Rates not bad and not as much hassle as dealing with my bank. read more

Functional and efficient. Had to wait a bit as it was closed for lunch when I got there.

Their hours are not accurate. We came at 7:15 to exchange and they closed 45 minutes early. Their hours are posted 10-8...

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience here. I brought a bunch of foreign currency I'd accumulated over the years, and exchanged it for dollars. The woman who looked after me was able to do the exchange quickly, efficiently and pleasantly. The fees were reasonable, and the whole process was an easy one. read more

Nobody behind desk despite being smack in the middle of business hours. Sign up that said would return at 3:30 but not there at 4:30. Call center didn't have a clue. Dealing with this company is a massive waste of time. read more

I had a very straightforward and swift transaction visiting the location in Tysons Corner Center. I ordered Mexican Pesos and was able to pick up same day. I received a call that my order was ready and visited in person to pick up. The staff person was courteous and provided necessary information for picking up as well as exchanging upon my travel return. The location is located in an open area kiosk inside of the Tysons mall which is the only reason I am giving four stars. The kiosk is open and the staff member speaks through a microphone so anyone walking by or standing near the kiosk can hear about your transaction (i.e., the amount of money you are receiving). Overall I like the convenience of Currency Exchange International in the area as many other currency exchanges are temporarily or permanently closed and this one is very accessible in the Northern Virginia area. read more

They confirmed my request to exchange dollars for pesos and then failed to get back to me. I've waited 36 hours and have called several times. The main office keeps telling me that the kiosk at Tysons is busy and isn't responding to them. Maybe they went out of business read more

I had to get currency for 3 countries. It was so easy to order it online and they delivered it so I didn't even have to go somewhere to order it and then have to trek back to pick it up like I have elsewhere in the past. This was so, so easy - wonderful service. read more

Not only did they not have the full amount of euros on hand that they stated that they had when I called, the fees are outrageous. Not recommended. read more

I have used this currency exchange outlet for the longest time; however, I visited the location today and had the worst experience. Their business hours ends at 7pm on Saturdays. I arrived at the location at 6:45pm and the guy was working in the booth said he already closed the safe and it won't be open until tomorrow which is wrong information because I have made transactions at the last minute many times. The attitude and expression he had was "I don't care about your business." He kept on shrugging his shoulder saying "nothing can be done, come back tomorrow." My recommendation would be if you can avoid this location to avoid bad experience. read more

The good: the woman at the counter was very professional, helpful, efficient and courteous. Our transaction was easy to do, and took little time. The bad: directions to the kiosk! Nowhere did it say in the directions or website that they are located in Tysons mall. It took about 15 mins of driving around until we figured out that it was indeed in the mall. After walking around the mall, I had to call them to to confirm the location. I was put through to the call center, not the location. When I arrived at the kiosk, there was a sign saying the staff was taking a break and I had to return in 15 mins. This made me late for a meeting I had later in the day. So basically logistic-wise it was not great, but once I got there it was very easy. read more

Sukie is great...!!! Service is fast, friendly, and at a great rate! I highly recommend Currency Exchange for your needs! This is the second time I have used their service, and both times it was fantastic! read more

It was convenient. Availability is not clear on some days, which should be adjusted so customers are aware before making the trip.

Very straightforward - ordered the money and got it a few days later. Have been using it without a problem (is not counterfeit). Will use again. Business is a kiosk in a huge mall. read more

Went there on a workday to exchange some money. Granted I researched how much the exchange would be so I can request exactly how much I wanted. There was a small line due to an individual doing multiple transactions. At the counter I was greeted very professional and she apologized for the delay which they rarely happens. She even waved a fee because I was waiting for long. She was clear about everything she was explaining and with in 2-3 minutes I was done. Oh and it was around lunch time so it was appreciated she was there to help. Keep up the good work. read more
