Oscar was pleasant, friendly, and patient. He explained the fees and charges clearly. Convenient location!! Great service. read more

I needed to get some foreign currency for an upcoming trip, for use where credit cards aren't always accepted. Currency Exchange International, or CXI, claims to have very competitive rates, and this one is conveniently located in a kiosk at Dadeland Mall. I needed to exchange a few hundred $$ and I wasn't sure if I'd need to call ahead or use their website to order, but they had the currency and amount I needed, no problem. They charged a $5.00 exchange fee, and a "currency price protection" fee of $5.95 which will supposedly give me a more attractive rate with no additional fees if I need to return here and exchange any unused foreign currency back to USD following my trip. I appreciate having found CXI, because some banks don't deal in certain foreign currencies, or are limited as to how much they can convert, and their exchange rates are sometimes very poor. Those limitations don't seem to be an issue for Currency Exchange International. Also, as most anyone who's traveled abroad can attest, the foreign currency exchanges located in touristy places like airports and train stations often have really horrible exchange rates, or charge excessive fees. Better to come here to CXI ahead of time. read more

I'll keep this short & sweet. The kiosk is small & in the middle of the Dadeland mall between stores. It's where the stairs & ramp go downwards after the Macy's. Only one person runs it & a line can form so be patient. Might want to call before you go in case they run out of the particular currency you're trying to get. Exchange rate wise, I found them fair & much better than the airport options. The gentlemen who helped me was friendly & even apologized for the wait. The process was quick & took less than ten minutes once we got started. Would I use them again? Yes. read more

Another excellent customer service experience! Francisco, was the initial person I worked with and Antonio, was the person I picked up my money from. These people are consistent with excellence, honesty and professionalism. Orlando and Jessica were two personnel's from their answering service who confirmed pertinent information to ensure that my transaction was smooth. Year after year, they deliver. read more

The rates this company provides is the best I've ever received. I suggest purchase the rate protection as well so you get equivalent of what your money is worth to exchange it. Their hours and location are convenient and the employees go over everything with you to make sure you understand and answer any and all questions you have. I find their rates were much better than banks. You can also order your cash amount ahead of time if need be. It just makes the process hassle free. read more

I called the local number listed on Yelp this morning when they opened to see if I could pick up some foreign currency later this evening. The guy that answered said he gave my number to the Dadeland kiosk to call me back but no one has called me all day! Very disappointed. read more

I recently exchanged some USD for EUR at their Dadeland Location, all was great, even sold back some left over EUR to USD at A LOT better rate than at Madrid Airport. I would have given them 5 Stars EXCEPT, on their online order page I requested bills in small denominations (It was only EUR500). When I got there they had 5 EUR100 billsfor me. When I told him I requested smaller denominations, he said fine and LUCKILY he had smaller bills. When I told him about me requestion, he said that sometimes that request doen't show up on their order. What would have happened if they didnt have smaller denominations, i would not be a happy camper, But over all SATISFIED! read more

Kevin was amazing at the currency exchange at dadeland mall. He answered all my questions. I highly recommend him

My experience was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! Mily was so sincere and genuine with me over the phone I could not wait to go an meet her in person! She went out of her way to make sure all my demands were met and just over all was so authentic with me I felt like I had known her for years. I'm a very frequent traveler and live a few minutes away but will start and continue to exchange my money at this very place EVERYTIME! read more

I am sorry to say that I visited the kiosk today and found the rudest person working it. He was making me feel as if he was doing me a big favor. Argued about what I had said versus what he understood. What is wrong with customer service? Was he not trained for that? I placed my order, they didn't hace the currency I need for the countries I will be visiting. They should be calling me back in a few days. I hope not to run into the same rude person who was there today. I received a call from the manager today who was very pleasant and apologetic for the unpleasant service I encountered a few days ago. I will be going back to visit the kiosk very soon. I appreciate hearing from him. Thank you read more

Customers service was excellent and the rates were reasonable. Millie was courteous, friendly, and even honest when I accidentally overpaid and returned the necessary money. I would highly suggest doing business here. read more

Great, convenient little kiosk stuck in the middle of Dadeland mall (next to Journey's, the Gap, Foot Locker). I had no problems exchanging my Jamaican currency, and also got filled in on some fun facts about foreign currency (did you know that Canadian bills smell like maple syrup)? Well then. Mily was cheerful, sweet and super fast... it's the little things that can make your day, so thank you Mily :) read more

Great service and location! Efficient, very pleasant, and fast. Definitely not worth going downtown anymore. Thank you Mily!

Milly at the Currency Exchange in the Dadeland Mall is AWESOME! I had some trouble with my bank cards allowing an exchange to Euros and Milly went above and beyond to help me out. Better yet, we finally got the transaction to work! Milly was patient, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She is a true asset for this business. I'll definitely look for her next time I need to do a currency exchange. read more

Milly was so helpful!! Definitely going back in case we need to exchange more currency for our trip!

Don't have Euros most of the time. Unless you're very close, like down the street, it's a waste of time to park and walk inside mall for currently exchange. read more

Put in a request online to order euros. Website said I'd receive a call in 24 hours. I never did 3 days later. I called and the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars is because of the lady over the phone. She was very nice but NOT at the dadeland but she tried to get me in contact with them several times. No one answered. She also took my number down and said she'd try to get it to the kiosk. I am not near dadeland so making the trip, in the event they don't have euros isn't worth it. I'll try elsewhere. read more

This kiosk business is located at Dadeland Mall between Macy's and JC Penny's. When we got there, it was closed with one of those will be back in 30 minutes signs. In 30 minutes the lone female employee returned. She was nice and very helpful. This is the first time I've used a currency exchange, and she answered all my questions I had for getting my daughter some British pounds for her upcoming study abroad program in London. The best part of this currency exchange is that the exchange fee was only $3.00 for a transaction of $200 or less, compared to $8.95 at Miami Int'l Airport. Also, if you return with any unused foreign paper currency just show your receipt and there's no transaction fee. Except for the 30 minute wait, I had a pleasant experience here. read more

Not too impressed. When I arrived the gentleman was sitting in the kiosk (he was the only one there), and he told me he was at lunch. He said to come back in 45 minutes. While I understand and respect his lunch time, It was funny to see him sitting there doing nothing and it was impossible for him to help me with a quick exchange, literally 28.00. I came back after 45 minutes and the transaction was 3 minutes from start to finish. read more

I travel frequently and have been to several currency exchange locations and this by far has been the best experience I've had. Milly was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and made sure we understood everything thoroughly. I had originally called first to make sure there would be enough for my exchange and Milly put in an order without hesitation to make sure we would receive our currency on time. Truly great and helpful service and amazing rates!! Definitely will use again for future traveling needs! read more

I leave on Wednesday to Europe and am as nervous as it gets! I met Milly who not only assisted me with exchanging money but calmed my nerves by giving me tips and recommendations for all the places I am going to. Honestly... stay away from this place unless you really need to change money desperately. The rates they give here are not good in my opinion. On top of the rates, they also have extra fees. The service was ok though, which is why I am giving 2 stars. read more

I called for the fees, they said $5 for 200 euro. I get there at 1:20 and the guy put his sign up coming back at 2. Their sign said 18% charge in addition to the $5. I ended up leaving. I didn't appreciate the service and being mis-lead. I strongly recommend a change in process. Thanks read more

Dude was nice and gave me a discount on the fee. Everything was explained and taken cared of fast. Good place.

What a pleasant experience! Milly was beyond helpful in getting us the currency we needed. You don't imagine a place like this would have amazing customer service, more of an in-and-out quick place. But it really brightened my day! And the exchange rates were great! read more

Great Experience! Milly went above and beyond to help explain everything I needed to know about the currency exchange rates and even gave me a little chart so I wouldn't get ripped off. They have a best rate guarantee and when I showed them Wells Fargo's current rate, the girl working told me "that's way too low, I can't match that, sorry." AWESOME. Never going anywhere ever again! I needed Yen, and none of the banks in my area had any, so I decided to give these people a shot and went up to the kiosk. Not only did they have plenty of Yen, but they were the sweetest people I have ever dealt with in my life!!! I am definitely going back in the future, and suggest you give them a try as well. The entire transaction was quick and easy, and I never would have imagined that I would have received such great and quick service from a Dadeland exchange kiosk. They were absolutely amazing, and will be using them exclusively for all of my future travels. I can't recommend this place enough! I do recommend calling ahead though to see if they have the currency you need, and enough of it; I would have done that if I wasn't already shopping around Dadeland, haha. So glad I decided to stop by and give them a try! read more
