As a vegan, catered events can be hit or miss for me--usually it means a sad plate of grilled vegetables while everyone else gets the exciting food. I don't even know where to begin with this catering company. Although they were really nice when it came to talking/initially working with them and the food tastes good, their execution was poor. Personally, I did not feel like they knew how to cater for a wedding and their tasting menu is very misleading. They lacked staff and just knowledge of how much food to give people. Our guests left the wedding hungry because the amount of food they provided was enough to feed children and not grown adults. If kids who are less than 5 are asking for seconds, you know that you suck at portions. In addition, Jason (the person who owns Curiocity) walked right in the middle of the speeches to talk to me and my wife, which was definitely not appropriate. Learn to read the room and what is going on. Let me list out the issues for everyone to know what exactly went on... 1. It is the summer, so you can't expect to have two water jugs to quench the thirst of over 150 guests. Who in their right mind would think that two jugs is enough and not have the staff to fill it fast enough if you are going to bring only two jugs 2. One slider, some fries, a small scoop of risotto, and a salad is not enough to feed a grown adult. And for Jason to say that he would be stuffed from this does not equate that to everyone. Also want to point out the people at this wedding are not big people and big eaters, so for many people to say they were hungry means Jason needs to learn proper portion 3. Inadequate staff to serve food and do anything in a timely fashion. Food ended up being cold 4. Jason and co also had the audacity to blame other people for their lack of ability to do their work properly. Learn to take ownership. There's probably more to say, but I will stop because this just frustrates me. Jason you should just quit this job and do something that doesn't involve customer service because you really don't know people and how to feed them. This was the only vendor that I regretted hiring for our wedding day. These guys were unprofessional, unprepared and unorganized on the wedding day and in the way they try to resolve complaints. Just to give a few examples: 1. They did not have enough staff on site making sure the water was refilled on a very hot summer day so a number of our guests were miserable, dehydrated and coming up to us to let us know the water ran out. 2. Curiocity was also hired for bar service but they didn't even serve our signature drinks during cocktail hour which we had made signs for (how embarrassing). They told guests that all they had was wine which is not what we had paid for. 3. To top it off, our main goal was for our guests to leave full and satisfied. We had been very clear about this when we met with Curiocity for our menu tasting and they reassured us that all guests would be called to grab seconds if they desired. Not even close. We had about 140 guests. We later found out that maybe 10 guests, if that, were able to grab seconds and at least 25% of our guests were still hungry by the end of dinner. The plates of food that my husband and I received were much smaller than the amount of food we had at our tasting. Both of us were still hungry. In the end Curiocity offered a very small refund because of the poor service and somehow tried to blame us and the coordinator for what happened when this was obviously their responsibility to make sure the food and beverages were adequate. They should have just been honest about how much food they'd be able to serve rather than misleading people. Definitely stay far away if you don't want your wedding to be remembered for the disappointing food and bar service! read more

Our wedding was Sept 25th, 2021, and we are so happy we booked Curiocity Catering! We loved our food! Jason is very responsive and professional. They are a food truck, but our menu was already selected so no one was going up to order anything. The food was ready to go come dinnertime! Sometimes people see a food truck and assume it's an open menu. We had grilled cheese w/ tomato bisque shooters, salmon skin tacos, and chips and salsa for cocktail hour. For dinner we had the beef sliders, parmesan fries, strawberry salad, and vegetable risotto. We opted for the iced tea and lemonade station as well. Everything was so delicious! Everything was served in a reasonable time, with friendly waitstaff. We also booked a bartender with them as our venue required it.
