Frank Bergeron came out to give us a quote. He was very nice and for the most part professional. I enjoyed talking with him, however, the only thing I didn't really like was him asking me what I did for a living and my wife work. If it was a genuine question bout interesting in my work, thats one thing but it seemed he was more asking how much money i made. Other than that, I enjoyed talking with him and he was very responsive to calls. During the quote I did Ask how much they charge for labor, but he told me that they don't reveal that information. Overall, Excellent communication with Natasha, Frank, and Samuel. There was a lot of subcontractors involved in the project. They worked very hard. The quality of the frame was a bit disappointing, although they got the frame up in a single day. The wood quality looked very cheap for what was being charged. The pavers and installation of pavers was excellent work. The only down side to the pavers was the edges. They just leave the edges with broken up sloped cement. The edges didn't look good and with the cost of the job, you'd expect them to at least fully cement it or anything to make it look good. But I have to understand that wasn't part of the job i guess. tl;dr Very expensive, They don't tell you the cost of labor, HIGHLY recommend getting an Inspector for the job to make sure the subcontractors do good job. Job completion was very fast. Looks good, but quality of material could be a lot better. My project for a 20x25 covered patio with a 5'0" x 14" bar, with Pavers cost $32,000.

I ordered many loads of their top soil and dirt mix on which to plant grass seed, and they dumped loads of what appeared to be material that was excavated from a site where a building was demolished. The loads contained about 60% crushed concrete with dozens of 20, 30, and 40-pound rocks. Also lots of other debris, such as pieces of PVC pipes, sections of steel chains, small scrap metal pieces, broken glass, and wood mixed with about 40% dry fill dirt. After I sent them pictures of what they delivered to me, they apologized and refunded the thousands of dollars I paid. Unfortunately, they refused to remove these piles of rubble from my property, and I was forced to pay a contractor to remove it.

They are respectful (most aren't), kind (a welcomed, added bonus), efficient (almost unheard of in the trades), really, really care about doing a great job (one of only a handful of companies we worked with who did), and were very respectful of other work that was done before theirs (WOW)!! That IS unheard of! We cannot recommend them highly enough. If you have any cement or mortar/brick work to be done... you absolutely will not find better people to do it! And they were very affordable. They replaced two sections of our driveway that had broken up over the decades. The older gentleman was an absolute artist with the wet cement! They also repointed some brickwork, and were very, very precise and careful about keeping excess mortar off of other parts of our house. We will absolutely, without a doubt, use them again and again. I had a "premium", very expensive system put in and a sprinter heads broke days after installation, and they would not come and look at it much less repair it, though this was the least of the problems. The system was not designed properly. The sprinkler heads were not located properly, and there are patches of grass that never get water and some that get to much and shrubs that get ripped to shreds from the big rotary heads. Some zones have too many sprinkler heads on them for the water pressure and the layout is poorly designed. They wouldn't even come look at the problems. Do not use these guys!

I searched French Drains and came across Sylve Services. Mr. Sylve arrived at my home assessed the situation and advised me he would call me back with a quote. I received a call back from Mr. Sylve the next day. He advised me if I gave him the opportunity to do the job he would make sure that I was satisfied. I gave me a price that was very reasonable. My schedule is very busy so the face that he provided me with a quote that included all materials was fantastic!!! He made my life easier and took on the task of satisfying the customer from the start. He had everything delivered and I didn't have to go into a store or garden center not once. He communicated with me and sent me a picture of every plant before he made the purchase of any plants that he used. I hired him to do the work, and all I can say is that he takes so much pride in his work. He went over his budget just to make sure the job was done to his satisfaction. Not once did he try to increase the quote or make me feel like I owed him anything extra. I left the total design up to him, and he did not disappoint. I didn't think I would like the brick border he suggested . He suggested this once he noticed I had left over bricks in my yard. He advised me that was a way that I could save by using the left over bricks. I came home from work and he had completed the landscaping edging with the bricks. All I can say is that I absolutely loved it!!!! Mr. Sylve came everyday with his lunch, water and everything that he needed for the day. He arrived early and left everyday once it got dark. Mr. Sylve seen that we needed fill around our patio so the dirt he had to Shovel out for the landscaping he placed it in the low spots around our patio. The French drain was done to our satisfaction even though I know it was more work than he originally thought it would be. He still gave he his all until the job was completed and to my satisfaction. We have several more landscaping outdoor projects that we need done. Mr. Sylve most definitely will be the only landscaper for us.
