PP is a long standing business in Wilmington and to post personal negative comments on the owners astonishes me. And to critique inventory and find rudeness is just too much as well. Long time customers will tell you that PP has been working hard and giving hard for a very long time. The staff are professional and gracious. Personal, knowledgeable help is always waiting. PP provides both small and large (companies) with the healthy abundant plants and extras that have been relied upon for decades. Extensive grounds and wandering paths, healthy indoor and outdoor plants seasonally. Seasonal touches that are always a treat and never ever rudeness. Never. The many years I have been here I've seen their reputation and enjoyed their establishment. On a personal & positive note I know that the business contributes greatly to our community. There may not be fanfare and billboards but many good things transpire in PP and the giving overflows to those around them. So, please hold back with the negatives, save helpful critiques for non pandemic times. The staff will gladly accept your comments and work to help you. I'm sure if it! I decided to give them another chance recently, bought 2 plants, and quarantined this time- both were crawling with mealies within 2 weeks. I thought I checked the leaves well enough at the shop, but I guess not. None of my other plants have mealies. This store definitely has a years long mealy infestation. He was extremely knowledgeable about the plants & was very kind. I had to go back a second time (even though I was only in town a few days) to get another look at the plants & buy a shirt to remember this gem! I felt as though the prices were very reasonable (and honestly less expensive than some of my favorite online nurseries!). It was very obvious to me that they source healthy and well established plants. If this shop was local to me, the owner/employees would be sick of me from coming so much!
