Yesterday was my first and last time at the north miami Curaleaf location.
I had visited the miami airport location a few days prior and Everyone there was helpful, informative, friendly, attentive. All the things that make a customer have a great experience they did!
I was very happy leaving that branch.
They Went far and beyond.
So of course when I visited a few days later the north miami location I assumed as a company the vibe the people and service would be to par.. NOT the case. My experience was very negative an shocking quite honestly.
I came in to the store with a pending credit on my account. And had the misfortune of having to deal with Devin Stark one of the
"managers" there.....although his behavior would not support that role.
He was off the bat Rude, short and full of attitude. Treated me with this negative demeanor as if I was trying steal from him like I was fibbing about my credit due....(this is a 48 dollar credit we are talking about). Im forced to call the airport Curaleaf and The refund finally gets straightened out over the phone with again a super nice guy at the airport branch. Now he hangs up and Rude Devin proceeds to lean back on the back counter cross his arms and begins to stare me down with a snarky aggressive childish disrespectful look the way you look at someone in the streets when you want to fight or at a club when you're being a creep. Making me feel super uncomfortable as I was being rung up by another associate. No man has ever in my life looked me down with this nasty demeanor. I had to ask devin to stop looking at me several times with no avail. I asked him if he treated and stared down every customer that came in there In That rude aggressive inappropriate manner....and his response was to shrug his shoulders and say Yep!Like a little boy!
Say whattt?? What is happening here? I ask myself.
In shock I ask him if he is a manager there and he again with an attitude pointed at another guy standing by another computer... who apparently was enjoying the Rude Devin Stare down Show so much that he not once had the managerial sense to step in and not allow this employee that works in customer service to have such a combatitive aggressive behavior towards a customer let alone a woman. So that dude who's name I didn't get is just as bad for allowing devin to be so disrespectful ,rude ,combative and non apologetic. no one said anything to him nor me to diffuse the situation or find a solution or common ground.
Devin should have been sent for a break because his attitude shows that he clearly needed at least a glass of water.
There is nothing I did as a human or as a customer to merit this treatment and this kind of behavior. Never have I witnessed in my 5 years of being a dispensary manager in Denver such a disgusting behavior towards a patient!
I still followed threw with my purchase while battling devins anger stares. Left the store shaking.
Curaleaf I will not blame your entire company for these few bad seeds you have in your garden. I now work in a michelin start restaurant and am well versed with customer service protocol. Devin behaved like a disgruntled employee who needs to learn how to respect others with his demeanor and behavior especially while at work on the clock representing someone else's hard earned work.
He also probably needs a good refresher on your company customer service policies witch seem to be strong and thorough by the stellar attentive informative but most of all FRIENDLY service I received at the miami airport location. Bad apple alert Curaleaf......Don't let it ruin your whole bunch. read more
