Ok, Cupzilla... fine! You won me over! I've had Cupzilla two more times since my original experience, and both times were a lot better than my initial experience. Not sure if they just went back to the drawing board, or put focus on quality, but recent experiences have changed my views. My go-to is the Hot Cup Level 4 with the Asian pork. A nice tingly sensation in the back of the throat, but nothing overwhelming. Guys, there is so much food. I know you'll think you're getting gypped, but you're not. You get at least 2 cups+ servings size, so you won't be starving, seriously! The only qualm with this place is if you get them on a bad day, your cup may be a little more watery, because the rice noodles need strained better, but the past two times I've had them, everything was pretty much on point. The flavors were A-OK. If you like gimmicky sushi joints with those stupid named sushi rolls, then you'll probably have no objections to CupZilla. Their name is slightly misleading from what others who have experience traditional Korean BBQ may be thinking, so think of this as its own contraption and not traditional at all. The pot-stickers or "Mandoo" looked really good, and consensus around me was that they were awesome. A little bit of buyers regret right there. I don't think a lot of Yelpers may be wow'd and thinking it's the best thing since sliced bread, but I'm going to be generous, and call myself a fan. While I was at the Columbus Arts Festival this afternoon I spotted this food truck. I have had one of their bowls before but I wanted to try the beef bowl with level 3 heat. And oh my was it so delicious! I love that they make the bowls to order so you know that you are getting fresh food. The beef was seasoned well and very tender and the noodles were just the right text. I also really liked the bit of veg that you get in the bowl as well. But favorite par of the bowl was the sauce! Level 3 was right for me but I love to try level 5 (highest level) sometime. Can't wait to have this again! read more

Not great. The "Tofu Cup: I had was basically about three quarters of a pound of sweet potato noodles, slathered in a a mayo-based sauce, with tiny amounts of fried tofu, rice and a few pieces of Iceburg lettuce and/or cabbage. I just paid $9.00 for about 35 cents worth of food in a cup. read more

WOW! Huge AFFORDABLE portions, amazing service, and exquisite food! The first time I was there I ordered a combo bowl with the choice of an extra meat or a spring roll. I ended up choosing the spring roll with my meal. The lady asked me if I would like the spring roll in with my bowl so I said why not?! Then she asked what level of heat 1-5. I chose level 2 (which was a popular choice.) My wife and I sat down and enjoyed the meal together. We were absolutely obsessed with it! The first thing we noticed was the sauces that she used. She had to of put 4 different sauces in the bowl which really set the whole thing off! It was not a hard decision to go back! The second time I ordered, I came prepared with some requests seeing that I was already an experienced Cupzilla customer. I wanted to beef up what I previously ordered. I ordered the same thing but triple the meat, double the rice and up a level on the heat scale. I also ordered two spring rolls this time. To my surprise she only charged me three dollars more then she did the last time I was there. Such a good food truck, and one that is unique compared to others. The sauce makes the meal. The people who run the truck are so nice and fun. I will say maybe they should just write "lettuce" instead of "veggies" but the lettuce adds a really good crunch to the bowl. Anytime they are near by, my husband and I have to get a bowl! First off I'd like to thank Cupzilla for taking a chance and coming out to the westside. And I'm so freaking glad I tried them again at the Westgate Farmers Market. (Shameless plug) I was by far super excited to try this truck, never knowing anything about the food, but wanting to try Koran food for a while after two bad experience w brick & mortar places on Henderson rd. LOVE the TRUCK & Love the size of the cup. It's a cool take on serving food in general. The truck also played awesome music (think K-pop but not sure) & the ppl working the truck seemed to genuinely care about the food, and were having a great time. Liked that they have all kinds of choices; from beef, pork, Tofu, and chicken. Picking out a spice level for the first time between 1-5 is hard, but it made it fun and gambling like. (I picked 3 BTW) I think I could have gotten a little hotter. But the spice level woke up the taste buds. I got the Pork cup. Pork was cooked normal, nothing fancy, but definitely good. The bowl was topped with the meat & the sauces (and that's all I could see at first look) upon digging down w/ my fork, I noticed there was cellphane noodles, rice, and lettuce as the base. Yikes I thou. I hate cellophane Noodles. They have this plastic texture that I can't stand. Liked the bed of lettuce & the rice was cook perfectly. Next time I tho I will order w/ only the rice and lettuce. w/o the noodles, & this round I did....this dish rocked my socks off (had flip flow on..but still) the first grant, the second time Grrreat. My first and only experience with this food truck happened at the Columbus Food Truck Festival in late August. When I arrived at the scene, the line to this truck was EXTREMELY long so it must have be good right? I was also starving. Food is always good when you're hungry right? Wrong. I waited in line for over half an hour and ordered the B-cup. The food pictured on their menu sure looked good but what I received was severely disappointing. For 9 bucks I received a cup of lukewarm crap doused in some kind of spicy mayonnaise. The "vegetables" included were basically a couple iceberg lettuce leaves. Jap chae was lacking in flavor and the meat was also of poor quality and very minimal. Rice was cold. There was no green onion for garnish, no sesame seeds. No sesame oil flavor (an ESSENTIAL for jap chae). Honestly, this didn't taste Korean in the least bit. I felt jipped and the abundance of mayonnaise sauce made me sick to my stomach. Despite being a poor college student ridden with debt, I ended up throwing half of it away (I am the type who hates wasting food too.) Overall: -1 star poor quality -1 star poor taste -1 star cold food -1 star expensive for what you get I will never eat here again. Even if it's free. YUCK. read more

First time at this food truck. I ordered the C-Cup with just chicken and veggies. I didn't want any rice or noodles because I try to avoid that. I also told him to add extra chicken. What I got was some shredded chicken (minimal) with a couple of actual chunks of chicken and a heaping pile of generic lettuce all slathered in an orangish sauce with a topping of sesame seeds. Now I will say the chicken and the sauce were good. But I do not consider generic lettuce to be veggies. I was thinking peppers, onions, something along those lines. What a rip! And it was $9 by the time you factor tip. What makes me mad is I'm still HUNGRY! Cupzilla should be called Cupless. The End. read more

I ordered the tofu cup at cedar point with level 3 spicy. It was awesome ! I have read other reviews on here, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how great this was. The flavors were amazing. I truly was impressed. First, I felt super excited that I had other options for food at Cedar Point. Furthermore, the food was great. I was happy about the tofu, as I figured it was a hit or a miss. My 10 year old daughter shared the cup with me, and let me say, it was very spicy at number three... So, if you are not a fan of the spice, then I would recommend a number 1. My child loves hot and spicy, so she could handle! I look forward to our next visit. read more

One of my favorite food trucks. Not sure I can explain why. This is a terrible review but I'm still finding their truck tonight for supper.

This was disgusting. I had the tofu bowl and got the level 4 spice. The menu described it as a bowl of rice with veggies and tofu. In reality, it was a small layer of rice, lettuce, noodles, fried tofu, and then slathered in a nasty yum yum type sauce with another layer of spicy sauce. First off, I don't know who decided lettuce was a good idea for a "veggie". It just gets mushy as soon as it hits something hot, really has no flavor, and has no nutritional value. Second, why is there a layer of rice AND noodles? I'm not trying to carb load here. Third, the majority of the bowl was taken up by a pool of heavy sauce. I don't think I would be so disappointed with this bowl if the menu description would have said what the bowl consisted of. Also, it cost me $8. I would never recommend this or return. This is one of the better food trucks that has come to my work. They are fast, and service was friendly. The tofu bowl was good, but could have ideally used more tofu and more vegetables. I didn't realize that the spicy sauce was just mayo, so if you are vegan be sure to ask for modification. Just for the heck of it, I ordered the spring rolls. The last ones I got from another food truck were fairly abysmal, so I wasn't expecting much. These spring rolls were actually really good, and probably the best thing I ordered. read more

So me and my girlfriend went for the first and last time and got two pop bowls. After receiving our food we gave them our card and put a tip in for them. After we got our card back we asked what drinks they served. They told us and we got two sodas. Once we got our drinks we paid for them but they charged our card for two more pop bowls and two drinks. We notified them of the two transactions and even showed our online bank statement when we did so they tried to deny that we were charged twice. We called our bank to make sure but we're told that they did indeed charge us over $50 for two bowls and two drinks. Never again I understand that they may be hurting from the pandemic but trying to steal money is not right. read more

Cupzilla is AMAZING!!! There are many so-so reviews but these people, clearly, have never had real Korean Barbecue before. The portions are very impressive and packed with flavor. I have eaten at Cupzilla 3 different times and every time was worth writing home about. I am a big fan of the C-Cup (Chicken) with a level 5 Spicy. Normally, when the heat (spicy) level is at the top of the range, you would expect the flavors to be lacking as the heat typically overpowers the taste but in the case of Cupzilla, the flavors are not covered by the burn. I will continue to recommend this to as many people as will listen. I am very much looking forward to my next visit to Cupzilla. read more

I just tried Cupzilla at Cedar Point after my family wanted to wait another hour to eat. It did not disappoint! I got the cup of BBQ pork along with the pot sticker and it was everything I hoped it would be. It was a tad pricey, but compared to other food options at Cedar Point the taste was glorious. The food doesn't look like the photo on the sign (it doesn't pop out of the cup as pictured) - I don't like when restaurants do this and find it disingenuous. However, the taste of the food and amount was plenty big and I was very satisfied and full. The staff was very friendly. I like spice and got the spice 4 level - it wasn't super hot but the flavor of the spice was so good. I'd highly recommend Cupzilla! read more

Tried this food truck while visiting Cedar Point during Halloweekends. Ordered the chicken and pork combo cup which was $14. Originally thought pricing was high but all the food trucks were priced about the same for meals and this bowl actually fed 2 of us. We ordered spice level 2 since I don't like spicy food but my daughter loves it. Wouldn't go any higher since it was pretty hot even for a heat lover. Lot of sauce but we love yum yum sauce. Saucy and spicy. Not me, the food! First, let me say that the people running the food truck are as much of a delight as their food. The portions are healthy to say the least. I ordered the tofu bowl (level 3 spice) with veggie spring rolls and potstickers. Yum on all accounts. The level 3 is no joke but the spice is well balanced with the noodles, rice, tofu, cabbage and a bit of sweetness. If you're not a huge sauce fan, ask them to go light. Was at a food truck rally and thought this sounded interesting. Unfortunately the man taking orders decided to flirt with the woman standing behind me. He almost completely ignored my asking about my order.Even though me and the woman got similar orders(she got more food than me) he made sure to give her order first. By the time I finally got my beef cup I had waited 40 minutes, the food was cold, the noodle and rice were soggy. This is more like a solid 3.5 than a 3. I never had anything like this while living in Korea, but for a quick spicy noodle fix I'll eat this anytime I'd happen to see it.
