I will say I was a little hesitant when looking at the building from the outside. It looks slightly sketchy/dirty, but the inside is clean and fresh! We had the special which was shrimp and spinach quesadillas, cheese enchiladas with red chili sauce, and the enchilada and taco plate. Everything was super tasty and the service was extremely quick. It was obvious the food was fresh as well. The sweet tea was so tasty as well. The salsa is quite mild (I was able to eat it after having a throat surgery) but it's packed with flavors. I personally had the quesadillas which were good but not usual. The chili sauce is not a traditional Mexican chili sauce but it's more like chili queso with a Cajun flair. The bar is very impressive and has a huge selection (Im an x - bartender) we did not have drinks though. My biggest complaint is that the toilet paper and paper towels in the bathroom were just stacked on counters/rails instead of being in the dispensers. Again I have worked in restaurants and this is much more unsanitary than you'd think and is pretty unacceptable to me. Bathrooms are make or break in my opinion which is the only reason I'm deducting a star. All in all don't be scared off if you're used to more up scale Mexican food. This place is a nice combo of Cajun and Mexican!
