For a place that prides itself on its custard, you think you'd be able to get custard and/or lemon ice here, but apparently you'd be sorely mistaken, for I stopped by to order lemon ice tonight and after having "Lemon ice....?" nervously repeated back to me, was told I couldn't order any because "our custard machines have been turned off". I went for 2 Hot Fudge Sundae's and when I got home I found out that I had 2 bowls of Vanilla, nothing else, not happy.

I don't normally "Bash" a Culver's but, I feel I need to on this occasion. First thing, the employees are to busy playing around with each other to pay attention to the customers. Orders are coming up and they are to busy talking and telling each other what time they are going home. The orders are piling up and the one girl that is packing the orders is to busy Flirting ! With the employee that is supposed to be taking orders or just doing a job! Now the customers are coming in and it's getting busy, the girl is confused on her orders because she has flirted so long that she lost the tickets for orders. Mean while, I'm still waiting for my food and it's sitting on the counter because she lost my ticket . I ordered a Concrete mixer that a kid gave me at the beginning of my order...why would you give me Ice Cream while I'm waiting for food?? As my Ice cream proceeds to melt I'm trying to make eye contact with the flirting girl but she's to focused on Prince Charming! The manager has no control of these kids because she herself is a kid. I hope "somebody" sees this and attempts to correct the situation in this place. As for me, I'll eat my food and drink my concrete Ice cream with a straw. Worst Culver's I've ever been to. Waited 20 minutes for food, finally went up to counter to find confused disorganized staff. They found my ticket, then proceeded to give us our burgers that clearly had been sitting there for some time... Hard crusty buns and warm limp lettuce & tomatoes. This is the worst Culver's! The cod fish is soaked in grease, it's soggy and disgusting. Not to mention the butterfinger concrete was sloppy, ice cream dripping on the side. No point in calling the manager...Breanna or whatever her name might be. She asked what the sandwich looks like at least 3 times! I WILL NEVER return to this location. I don't exactly have a ton of new information to add here, but feel the need to alert people that they now have a veggie burger option which makes it a lot easier to convince my vegetarian husband that Culver's is better than cooking dinner. This used to be a wonderful restaurant, but the place is now simply disgusting. We don't have a lot of restaurant choices in this town, but I won't be going back here. Today I waited for my order (a simple sandwich basket) for twenty four minutes before I decided to go up to the counter and ask for it. I had to get in line behind another customer who said he had been waiting over 20 minutes for his order. My order had apparently been sitting under the heat lamp the whole time -- they just didn't have anyone motivated enough to bring it to my table. The bun had dried out from sitting under the lamp that long -- it was like a hockey puck. The meat on the sandwich had dried out as well. I ended up just throwing the entire order in the trash. I did speak to the manager on duty before I left -- he offered to make my order over again, but I didn't have the afternoon off so I declined his offer and left the place. The corporate office needs to close this place down -- it really doesn't live up to corporate standards. read more

Good butter burgers, but still another fast food joint. The food here is like any other Culvers, though better than most fast food burger places. It is definitely a step up from your usual fast food culprits like McD or BK, but it won't match up to some of the well known places around Chicagoland. The venue seems fairly new and service was very prompt. I was up here for a service event and was pleased to find it. It's in the plaza with the K-mart, and is on a well traveled street so very easily accessible. Overall, I'd eat at a Culvers over most fast food options, but for fast food it's often location for me... so if your'e up here, why not. read more

The food is consistently good. This is one of my favorite fast food places. The food is ready fast, even with a long line. I've only had one mistake on an order here, and the manager was helpful. My burger was perfect the next time, and one of the best cheddar burgers I've ever had. Won't be back here ! 2nd time EVER having Culver's and it will be the last. Stopped for a quick bite with my son. His food came out just fine....just the fries were cold . I grabbed a classic vanilla shake and a classic cheeseburger with everything on it . This wasn't a shake at all, it was just the ice from the machine poured directly into my cup , wasn't blended or mixed, nothing. Total waste. It didn't even melted down evenly enough to ever drink. My cheeseburger, cheese was still chilled in some places LOL. Burger was also cold. Seems like they took handfuls of each topping and just smashed it in the burger. It had 6 pickles, two slices of onions ...with ALL the layers there so the onions ended up being thicker than the actual burger patty. Ketchup and mayo on the half back of my burger and gushed right out everywhere on the first bite. Smh. Considering there was a snow storm last night , I didn't even have the energy to turn around and wait back in line behind the 7 cars that came behind me and that were also parked all crazy outside of the drive thru with no signs on where we should wait or park. Extremely unorganized business and they need to train their workers a bit better. The lady who took my order though is the reason they gained a few stars, now SHE knows what she's doing. I'm just made I wasted about $15 for maybe 2 bites of my own food and my son just being able to only enjoy the tenders and nothing else . This restaurant is always clean and friendly. On Thursday, I had placed an order and I thought that they had forgot 1 Reuben sandwich. I went back and told them. They got me the Reuben with no hassle. Later, I had realized that I had an extra sandwich and went back and told the manager the story so I could pay for it. For the last two years this restaurant has gone down hill. They have gotten every order wrong (not kidding). The orders are missing food items. When we went back they were unconcerned. I tried Culver's today for the first time. Ordering from the drive through was a pleasant experience. The woman taking the order offered to answer any questions I had when I informed her it was my first time at Culver's. The food was hot and fresh and quickly brought to my car. I ordered a cheeseburger and chocolate reesus mixer which were delicious. I highly recommend if you are searching for a good burger in the area. The food is great as well as the customer service.
