If I could give it negative stars I would. Last night we went as a family to eat. There were five of us and clearly that was too many for this girl to handle. The plain cheese burgers were fine. The deluxe burgers were a mess and they looked like someone sat on them. All the sides were wrong, we ordered two cheese curds and one side salad. That's not what we got!! I had a 2 piece fish dinner. I ordered it extra crispy, because if you don't, you get an under cooked mess. I still got an under cooked mess and cold fries. This fiasco cost me over $70. Never again! Go to any other area Culver's! Go to McDonald's, Marty's, Jay's, any place else! Plus the the employee was rude. read more

Culver's has a good burger. The burger is middle of the ground. Nothing to go crazy about, but a solid burger. The service here is very good. The staff is friendly and the food arrives timely. I'd recommend Culver's for a quick bite to eat but don't expect anything amazing. I'd say it's above McDonald's as far as a burger goes, but places like Wendy's and Burger King are superior. read more

I've been coming to this Culver's/Butter Burger location since I can remember. What an awesome place. Always the friendliest service, consistently tasty food, and super clean. The family who started Culver's in 1984 is originally from the Baraboo area so I wouldn't be surprised if this Reedsburg restaurant is one of the first locations. If you've never been to a Culver's it's a treat on many levels. First of all the food is delicious - anything you order. After you place your order you get a number and take it to your table, then a few minutes later a nice server comes and delivers the food to you. So it's fastish food, but definitely feels more home cooked than McDonalds or Burger King. It's a close race with In and Out Burger for my favorite fast food place of all time but the desserts take it over the edge. You have to try their famous concrete shakes, and ice-cream flavor of the day. Last time I was there I got to have peppermint oreo with hot fudge - amazing! They do good burgers, and my family likes the chili. But that's it. Fries are a crapshoot, you have a 50% chance of them being undercooked. Same thing with the fish. Small portions. Usually customer service is pretty good, but the last time I went through the drive through there was a little chick you could hardly speak, and she wasn't special needs either. Let me start with we go to a lot of Culvers thanks to sports and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had! We literally watched our food sit in the warmer for 10+ minutes before it was put on a tray then everything fried tasted like fish. Culver's home of the butter burger and super thick custard. Evidently it's a staple here in Wisconsin. I can see why. This location was packed when we got there. There was a shift leader who was an older man who sang to me and was probably the one of the most polite people I've ever met in my life. He wasn't at all frustrated by our lack of knowledge of their menu. This is a fast food joint and they have a drive-thru however the inside is hopping. We ordered a salad, a fish sandwich meal, a kids meal, and I had a mushroom and Swiss burger combo. The combos come with crinkle cut fries but you can upgrade to fried cheese curds and you bet your sweet ass I did! The kids meal comes with a token for a free custard. We all decided we needed one. I am thankful I ordered a small. So the salad look good, my wife was happy with her fish sandwich and my burger was pretty tasty. Is it the best burger I've had no not even close but for a fast food joint it's pretty damn good... so let's talk about this custard situation. It's either chocolate or vanilla but you can add two and a half million zillion toppings and create whatever you like... they had salted pecans and I was in heaven. We are with a big group of people and I completely forgot to take pictures of my food. We we're way too caught up in catching up. I love everything about Culver's except the fish, the fish itself is good quality but it is absolutely tasteless, no seasoning what so ever, as is the coleslaw that goes with it. I find it unusual that Culver's wouldn't have the best tasting coleslaw and fried fish, everything else is great! Please consider adding seasoning to the batter and the coleslaw. read more

On my last trip to this restaurant I was about 3 hours from home, driving through Reedsburg, WI when my mom and I stopped at the Culver's. We split a value basket and then we ordered 2 sundaes for dessert. We cut the hamburger in two and it was pink inside. Also when I was getting a refill on my drink one of the employees was asking the other employee for some clarification about my order, which was a scoop of chocolate and scoop of flavor of the day and the girl who took my order said, "That guy's weird." So I wrote the store an e-mail through the website. I mentioned that I don't like being referred to as "weird" and that I've never heard that from anyone at Culver's in my 20 plus years of frequenting the restaurant chain. I got a call from one of the managers. He was a younger guy in late 20s or early 30s. He was polite on the phone and he did seem to know who was working the grill who undercooked the burger and the girl who referred to my order as being "weird." But honestly the phone call was rather unsatisfactory as he minimized my complaint and did not fully acknowledge that no employee should ever call a customer "weird." read more

So good!! This culver's is the best culver's to go to. I grew up in Reedsburg and moved to Pennsylvania in high school. This is what I miss the most, and out of all the culver's I've been to, this one is the most consistent, including the original in Sauk City. I was told this was the second location ever for Culvers. They rebuilt the restaurant about a year ago and the new place is beautiful. I love their burgers and custard, but the fried cheese curds are my favorite. read more
