Food was being prepared like an efficient assembly line. She was anticipating what they might run out of by asking her staff for item counts, and proactively instructing her staff to "put in more baked potatoes." She greeted everyone, making eye contact and telling them she'd be right with them. The Wendy's app helps quite a bit, and it does save you money. Our chili and baked potatoes were good! I do feel sorry for these fast food places--with the advent of "Door Dash" (which I detest) these restaurants are expected to respond to a flash flood of orders at one time, and still service in-store patrons. It places an asinine burden on the staff. These places are not set up to be "food factories." Kudos to the manger (tuft of blue hair; didn't catch her name) of this location. She kept things running smoothly, and was exceptionally professional and courteous at the same time!

I ordered a three piece chicken tenders with buffalo sauce, and ended up with five tenders, possibly because one of them was pretty small, but I would have been fine with three. The order came up in a reasonable amount of time and the chicken was warm and white meat chicken-esque. The only drawback was the buffalo sauce. Not sure if it was old or had been exposed to heat, or if Hardee's just serves odd buffalo sauce, but it was a yellowish brown color instead of orange, and it didn't taste like buffalo sauce. It tasted like peppers and vinegar, but just...different. I checked the ingredients to see if they were maybe using unusual peppers, but it said cayenne pepper. I also opened another container of it to see if I just had an off one, and the second one was the same way, so I dunno.
