Stop in for a quick bite to eat. My wife had the roast beef sandwich with mash potatoes. She was surprised how tender the beef was and the Ajou sauce was very flavorful. I had the pork loin sandwich which I had never had before, but it was awesome. I also had a side of onion rings, which were very crispy. It was very good for the price. read more

I like Culver's even more now since they have a rewards program. This is not my typical location but I was in the area and had a taste for custard. The place was full. It can get pretty noisy with so many people of different ages. My guest and I had to yell at each other to be heard. The service was efficient up until I ordered dessert. I ordered 2 mini peach concretes. What I got were 2 mini Heath Bar mini concretes. My guest ate hers, she said she'd rather have had peach. What I had of mine was OK. I'm not fond of Heath. We both ordered single butter burgers which came with soda and French fries. My hamburger was dry. The bun was average. They could've been more generous with the condiments. The soft drink was Coke. We have frequented this location since they opened, but lately, the accuracy of orders has been awful, and will not improve. The food is great, but usually something is forgotten. The counter service is very good, with the exception of one individual, who will not listen when you place your order. I seem to always get waited on by this person. Came here on Tuesday night. There were lots if cars in the parking lot but not a lot of people inside. There were a ton of young employees. Most were standing around and it took a while to get someone's attention as they were socializing. We ordered our food and it came out in a good amount of time. Food was hot and tasty. Got chocolate custard which was good. The vanilla custard was not good. There was a booth of teens behind us who were yelling, cursing and having inappropriate conversations for a public place. I would nit have cared but my 7 year old was with me and kept asking what things meant. We came to this location one other time while in town and did drive through. It was quick and the food was hot. Culver's in Fenton, what's not to love!? My wife and I were running errands all over St Louis and stopped by for a late lunch ! We noticed the restrooms were clean and well maintained. The dining area was very clean and well kept despite the fact they had been very busy during lunch. The service was excellent and fast. Our order was complex because we have to eat Gluten Free I had the Wisconsin Swiss Double basket with a GF bun and my wife had a single with no bun, cheese, lettuce and tomato . We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! She also really enjoyed the Diet Root Beer among the many drink choices. The drive through seemed to move very quickly but we really enjoyed eating in the dining room especially because the burgers are so juicy, we didn't want to wear them! Culver's does smashburgers amazing! My fave thing here is the double bacon cheeseburger meal. This visit I am eating gluten free for health reasons and they were able to make my burger bunless and still add my toppings. That was nice. They have crinkle fries and they are only average. Drink offerings are basic through a machine, I had a diet root beer. My daughter loves the corn dog and also getting a small custard with strawberries. The service at this location was good and I enjoy that they offer outside patio dining, which we used. Minus 1 star as Culver's is pricy. For 2 "small" value meals it was $18. Inaccurate orders are fairly common for me at this Culver's. What is so difficult about checking the order before it comes out? The missing item was just sitting under the heat lamp when I went back up to the order station. Very frustrating! read more

This is the WORSE Culvers I have ever been to and I eat at Culver's alot. The hamburger was as flat as paper and that's not exaggerated . Then when I asked for a manager just to ask if that was the normal way of them cooking (sometimes they get smashed to much) he got really rude with me. He raised his voice and obnoxiously told me that was the Culver's way of cooking them. We were in the seating area of the restaurant and he was speaking to me so rudely. I said I guess I won't be back here, he said that's fine with him. I could ljust leave then. I said wow and fine give me a refund, I had taken 2 bites of my hamburger, he said no way you have eaten half the food. Whatever. I did their survey and asked for a call back from the general manager and never heard back from him. Very sad way to run a business. read more

Fast food is a rare indulgence, and Culver's is worth it. Even here, we limit our bites, though. Hubby had a single Wisconsin Swiss melt and I had a single Mushroom and Swiss melt with GF bun. Single patty, you ask? Yes, you can order just one patty; same great taste, less guilt and calories to work off later. I especially love how the burger patties have those bits of crispiness on the edges. So good. GF bun? Yes, it comes steamy hot in its own wrapper, with your burger-n-fixins in a separate container with a fork and knife, so you can assemble it with class. Their custard flavor of the day was Andes Mint chocolate so I got a scoop of that, too. It reminded of my childhood: Mom loved mint chip ice cream. The flavor was so fresh and bright. Service was excellent and fast. The staff behind the counter were friendly and our food came out hot. We love Culver's everywhere. Excellent fast casual dining experience. This restaurant is fully staffed and served customers well. Had numerous staff ask me if I needed anything else. One of the managers actually took my order and was very friendly. Food was fresh and brought to my table. Restaurant had free WiFi so I was able to connect and browse with ease. Very clean and tidy dining room, counter area, as well as restrooms. They are doing something right at this Culver's! I will visit again! read more

Culvers is, jn my opinion, among the top tier of fast food chains in the area. That being said, I am talking FAST FOOD CHAIN here and not all restaurants or places to get a burger. If you are looking for the best burger and don't mind spending more for it, then go to O'Connels or the Burger Bar, etc. I agree with other reviewers that this is most comparable to Steak n Shake type places. I had never even seen a Culvers, let alone eaten at one, prior to moving to Fenton a few years ago. Not knowing what it was, we stopped there to eat while having our house built several years ago, and were floored at the inherent yumminess of the Butter burgers. Served without being wrapped in paper if you eat in-restaurant, this prevents them from being steamed in their own juices, which can create a soggy bun. Also, as a "solo queso" (cheese only) fan of hamburgers, I enjoy that they come plain with all toppings added. In my experience ordering burgers at places which automatically put toppings on them by default and saying "plain" inevitably results in incorrect orders. This has never happened at this Culvers location. Because of this, all burgers are made "to order" meaning fresh. So if you are in a hurry and can't wait the extra 2-4 minutes for a fresh burger, then the Burger King in the adjoining parking lot is for you (not an endorsement of BK as I have never eaten there and do not attest as to their speediness). The shakes (and you can order MALTS) are great too although a little pricey in my opinion, especially considering there is a Fritz's within 5 miles. All in all, for a 1-person meal that will fill you for under $10, you shouldn't be disappointed. read more

This Culver's typically does well with order accuracy, and food quality. Their customer service struggles a bit. Unfortunately, on multiple occasions when ordering via drive-thru, the person taking my order was impatient to say the least. Tonight was a perfect example: after ordering the first meal of a multiple meal order I received the reply of "is that all", and after the second meal I received another reply of "is that all". After ordering and paying, the manager brought out our food and was absolutely amazing; she was apologetic, and understanding. I'll continue to visit this Culver's for convenience, but I'm hopeful for a better drive thru experience. read more

BEST: Fast Food Value Their kids meal is the best value out there in fast food land in terms or quality, quantity, price. Comes with a hamburger, that is like a Steakburger, crinkle fries, drink, AND a sundae (frozen custard!) with a topping for $5.49 as of 03/04/19. Burgers are really good as is their house brand root beer. The staff at this Bowles location is awesome. Always super friendly. They always help with fundraisers etc. so they give back to the very local community too. For a chain this has a feel of a community/family place not just a fast food joint. read more

This is the best Culver's around. At least compared to the Manchester location. The inside is huge. It's super clean, bright, and cozy. The ambience is spot on. There are plenty of private booths available for sitting. The drink station is in a convenient location, right in the middle of the restaurant, and it is larger than other locations. The food is fantastic. It's more fresh here. It's prepared better, and it tastes better. The Cod dinner here is night and day compared to the Manchester location. The fish is perfectly fried, the batter is thin and evenly coated, the fish portions are meaty and wholesome, and the fish flakes perfectly by a fork just like in the movies. You'll be dreaming once you try it. I had the same meal at the Manchester location, and I was horrified at how subpar it was. Seriously, its the food that keeps me coming back. The food is the heart and soul of this place. It's so fresh. And the quality has been consistent each time. So I will keep coming back to this location, no matter the distance. My husband and I are not thrilled with Culver's. We have never dined inside, but I've noticed it's always crowded so there must be something people like. We've always used the Drive Thru and I've noticed the cost of their food is very expensive. For a Hamburger(A BUTTER BURGER)and Fries they are charging a lot. Usually I get a Concrete, my Husband gets a burger, which he's not thrilled with or the price. Putting a pat of butter on a Hamburger should not make it that costly. We live close to this Fenton Culver's but seldom eat there. Because of their expensive prices we will go to McDonalds and pretty much get the same thing for a much lower cost and their food is about the same as Culver's without the increase in price. People seem to like Culver's and there are always a lot of people there but for the price it's not our place. Their concretes are good, but nothing special. We just don't understand why it's always crowded. Maybe we're missing something, I can't imagine what that might be(?) read more

I'm a burger kind of guy, so when a good burger comes along I have to give it a try. Culver's most definitely does satisfy my burger appetite. I have eaten at several different locations, and each and every time I have had a very pleasant experience, with this place being no exception to the rest. This was my first time in this location, and when I arrived it was packed. there weren't too many people waiting, in fact I was able to walk right up to the counter and place my order with the very friendly young man working the register. I went the simple route and ordered just a classic butter burger with minimal condiments, and fries. we got our drinks and sat ourselves and waited for the food, which didn't turn out to be a long wait at all despite the amount of people in the restaurant. My food was hot, cooked, and very tasty. I liked the fries and they were done, crispy and crunchy just like I like them. I don't really understand the negativity about Culver's in reviews, because you know exactly what you are getting when you pull into the parking lot. Culver's is a fast food burger joint, so that's exactly what you should be expecting to get when you eat there. if your looking for perfection and the ultimate "burger experience" go to a steak place or a upscale burger place. however if you are looking for some good food, at a reasonable price, with satisfying results, they by all means grab a burger at Culver's. and be happy. read more

No idea why people think the food is so much better than steak and shake. At least a family can eat a meal for less than $20 at Steak 'n Shake versus the $+30 at Culver's. Got to restaurant at 930pm, no one in the place, took over 15 minutes to get my food. 2 burgers, cheese curds, and rings. I was forced by a 19 year old punk ass shift supervisor to leave at 9:57pm and had to eat my grubby greasy crap food in my car. I like Culvers. Yes, it's a meat-den and yes it's a little garish in all ways but I like the place. It's an excellent place to meet my family for dinner with my son. It's family friendly so I don't have to worry quite so much when my son meows really loudly (and long!) like a cat in heat in the middle of dinner. I also like that, as a vegetarian/hippy/commie/liberal/buffoon I can still find things to eat. The fresco salad is quite good (Culvers bleu cheese dressing is pretty righteous) and the cheese curds are, well, FRIED CHEESE FOR GOD'S SAKE and what's not t o like about delicious artery clogging fat du jour? Tonight I tried their veggie burger for the first time and it was really really good! They use a garden patty rather than a boca patty which I prefer because sometimes the bocas are just a little too meat like and it kinda grosses me out. If I had to complain about something, I would say $4.59 is a little steep for a kid's meal. They should really knock that down a buck or so. Because you know I am cheap like that. read more

I first found Culvers about 3 years ago when I worked in St. Charles and from the first time I entered my experience has been basically the same for each visit. While they are considered fast food, it doesn't feel like it when you eat there, they are clean, comfortable and do not have the feel of your typical fast food franchise. They also have some of the best food around. The service is always good, which I find amazing since they hire mainly kids, but they are always friendly and appear focused on their job. The food which includes your typical burgers and fries also includes fried chicken, fish, patty melts, the seasonal walleye and various other items that revolve in the way of specials. The one thing I get on a regular basis is the burgers, and to me Culvers has replaced Steak and Shake when I need a good grilled burger. They do the same type of flat burger that SnS does but it is constantly good, I cannot say that for SnS. Their burgers are always juicy and the toppings fresh and their fries are the crinkle cut variety which are always crispy and hot. Their onion rings are also better than most for being frozen but I don't go for the orings. They also have frozen custard and while I am not an aficionado, my wife and two daughters confirm that it's quite good. The nice part is you can get a kids meal, which comes with a single cheeseburger, fries, drink and an ice cream for about $4. Over all, Culvers is my go to place for flat burgers, I just wish they had more of these places around. read more

I'm a terrible St. Louisan/American citizen/person, apparently. Because along with camping, float tripping, fishing, and watching The Princess Bride, I've also never been to Culver's. I know. I KNOW. That all changed today, when I decided to bite the bullet and make the trip there for lunch. I went with a bacon cheddar butterburger and an order of sweet potato fries. I went through the drive through, which guaranteed a quick turnaround. At a little over 8 bucks for a burger and fries, it wasn't cheap, but it was about the same that I'd pay at Steak n Shake, so whatever. Speaking of Steak n Shake, this burger tasted just like a burger from that place. Just like it. Blindfold me, and I wouldn't know the difference. Hey, just blindfold me in general. I dig that sorta thing. God, I'm desperate. Anyway, the burger was good. Not great, but good. So why 4 stars? The sweet potato fries were sort of amazing. They were crispy, sweet, and so hot that they burned my fingers. Didn't stop me from shoving them in my mouth like a crazy person. I wonder if that's why the kids in the car next to me were staring. Kiddos, this is Amurrrrricahh (ahem, America). Shouldn't you be used to seeing that sort of thing? I digress. The burger was decent and the fries were fantastic. Having this Culver's near my work is awesome! The drive through is my choice and it's nicely managed I just wish people would pull forward when others move out of waiting for their food. We had a drive through order for some burgers and fries. Asked specifically for extra ketchup because they usually only give one container even for multiple orders of fries. We got to our destination and .... none. None at all. I called the store to point out the omission. Manager said they could mail a coupon for ketchup. I very politely told her that didnt really make sense and she replied by telling me, "well thats what we do. What else do you want?" I wasn't asking for anything except to remind them to include condiments especially when asked. I like their food but their little 'managers' need a lot more training. Maybe some training in common courtesy and thinking before they speak. The food is fine but customer service makes the experience unpleasant, again bringing down the rating. read more

I came here just for the sweet potato fries. They no longer carry them?!?!! I had a cheeseburger and onion rings instead. I love the cheese on the burger. Yummy!!!! The onion rings were ok, a bit greasy for my taste. I do like how they bring your food to the table. That's a nice touch!! This particular location was clean until I used the rest room. I hope the person who used the toilet was on their way to see a gastroenterologist!!! They also need some serious lessons on how to push the lever to flush the toilet. I altered the staff, but did not see anyone go in to remedy the situation. The restroom was also in serious need of service as the floor was dirty and it was low on paper towels. Perhaps it was all due to the person in need of medical attention and basic courtesy rules. I do not know.
