Service: I only checked in because the young lady was so sweet and pleasant. When you're that kind at work, especially a young lady, you HAVE to rave about it. She was working the drive in and Saturday evening and she was so friendly, I looked up from my phone to see who she was. I told her she was adorable and of course she lit up like Christmas morning. LOL Food: My cousin ordered fries and a fish sandwhich and it apparently hit the spot. Fries were fresh and hot and salted just right (I had to sample) and she wasn't sharing her fish sandwich.. so I'm going to assume she enjoyed it; it disappeared quickly. LOL Ambiance: didn't go in

Probably the worst ordering system I've ever encountered. In fact some jerk cut in front of me and another person because of this failed system. They don't even have any literature explaining this poor system either. Finally get my order in and take a seat, ordered the triple cheeseburger and fries and a coke. It didn't take long to get and have to say, food was good. The burger seemed a tad smaller than other locations. Food was a more expensive than other locations too, Springfield location is the worst and most expensive though. They don't have indoor seating, fyi. I would return, but would recommend preordering to avoid their poor service.

I've enjoyed a few smash burgers but it's just something about this place that always keeps coming back whenever I'm in town. The lemon custard is absolutely my favorite hands downs. A kind of cramped place so it always has a crowd. The prices aren't that bad for the quality and service. A lack of fancier restaurants around here in a town that mostly has chains. It's more of a kind of classier sports bar and grill. The atmosphere is pretty good because it's one of the few happening places around here. A place where one can watch a game and get craft cocktails as well as well cooked burgers. There's also plenty of meal sized salads for healthier options. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail. They have a pretty okay amount of spirits including whiskeys. It's about $10 for an Impossible Burger. We got these and had to choose our toppings. Also these come with a side such as fries. Pretty good amount of food for an okay price. Among the other items on the menu is fish. They have plenty of burgers as well as Po Boy sandwiches. Also there's soups and plenty of shareable appetizers. They also have desserts such as pie. For sure it's one of the nicer restaurants in the area. It's closed Sundays and Mondays. There's lots of meaty options and some things for vegetarians.

I've eaten various types of Horseshoes and Ponies but this one stands out above all (recommendation: get the Tots instead of the fries; they are very crispy and stand up well to the cheese sauce). My only quibble is that they don't seem to employ enough wait staff. There was only one waitress trying to handle the entire restaurant. Otherwise this place is worth the drive and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I ordered the vegetable plate with four sides, broccoli, baby carrots, collard greens with ham, and green beans. The broccoli was cooked just right, still had some firmness to it and not mushy. The carrots were simple and good, exactly what you expect when they're done right. The green beans had that slow-cooked flavor, definitely not straight out of a can, they had some seasoning and depth to them. The collard greens with ham were the standout. Nice smoky flavor, well-seasoned, and clearly had some time put into them. I also had cornbread, which came out warm, a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and a hot mocha with the meal. This was a good reminder that you don't have to go heavy here to get a solid meal. The vegetable plate holds its own and actually brings more flavor than you might expect.
