The food was good, not the greatest though, it could have been fresher. It took them forever to bring the food out, waited at least 10-20 minutes. Not "fast" at all. The main issue was the cleanliness of the building. The tables weren't clean at all, all of the trashes were full, no one came to check on us, and the bathroom was very dirty. Culver's the butter burger! It is a good damn burger! I've enjoyed this burger on a couple occasions and it does not disappoint. Good flavor good texture good ingredients. And if you like custard like I do, you too will like it. This place is always throwing coupons around to get a really cheap burger. Worth it without coupon! read more

It was busy when we stopped in, but that didn't slow down the wonderful service and hot food from flowing here! Great job!

If we are hungry for fish but not wanting large dinner, this is where we now go to meet that urge. Culver's Fish sandwich is truly the best in town for flavorful flaked fish. Love the french fries and onion rings too. Only note is on last visit had extremely long line and even while waiting until shorter before jumping in, seems that busy time took a toll. Fish seemed different in taste, more like reheated than hot and fresh. Would not go again at early dinnertime or just after. Otherwise, delicious fish. read more

I normally do not eat fast food, but I make an exception for this restaurant The food is excellent.....the grilled chicken, the salads, the soups.......I eat lunch here a few times a week. This location is always clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Always a great experience! read more

I'm not much of a fast food guy, but I have really enjoyed this place. I'm only in Cadillac for two weeks on business, but have eaten here on at least five occasions already in the time I've been here. The frozen custard was the initial draw. Frozen custard is something I love, but which you cannot get where I live, so whenever I am on the road and see a frozen custard place, I have to stop and get me some. And the custard here is as good as any. Rich, smooth and creamy. I like to get a single scoop of vanilla covered in almonds. Sometimes I add hot fudge as well. Yum! The 'Butter Burgers' here are very tasty as well. They don't make them until you order them. The beef tastes real and somehow unique (kind of a texture thing) in a good way. The soft buns are lightly buttered, giving them the name 'Butter Burger'. Instead of fries, I get the Cheese Curds which are something I had heard about, but never had until now. They're small balls or deep-fried cheese curds that you can dip in marinara or ranch. Both times, the burgers and curds came out nice and hot and fresh. The fried chicken dinner I had on the other hand was a bit disappointing. It didn't taste like it had just been made and the meat was dry and tough and not 'piping hot' like I like my fried chicken. The accompanying mashed potatoes/gravy and coleslaw were so-so. Nothing I would order again. Most impressive is the service. The mostly teenage staff does not have the lazy, "I guess I'll help you" attitude that I find so often at fast food joints. On most of my trips here, the cashiers have been very helpful and they bring the food to your table with a smile. One ever offered to bring me some sauce for my cheese curds and served them to me on a tray as if we were at a fine dining restaurant. read more

Culvers up to this point was my favorite place to eat. However, today a tragedy occurred. They put mustard on my double cheese butter burger that was only supposed to have ketchup and pickle on it, FYI I hate mustard. Good service otherwise. :( read more

For the price, the food is good. Do they deserve five stars? Well, maybe not, but, they have Diet Mountain Dew! So few places have a diet soda alternative. They only serve diet colas in most places, but they have Diet Mountain Dew. Kudos to Culver's! read more

I am a huge fan of Culver's and am never disappointed but there is always a first time. Dinner was great and decided to try their flavor of the day for dessert. I usually get their Turtle sundae but the caramel cashew flavor sounded too good to be true. Wow was I wrong! Basically vanilla ice cream. The absolute worst, most disgusting burger I have EVER eaten. The mushroom swiss burger did not taste of mushrooms, or beef, or even swiss, and in fact didn't have much flavor at all. It oozed grease profusely, which also did not taste like butter, despite the whole butter burger selling point. The fries had the inner consistency of rehydrated potato paste but no flavor whatsoever. I was hungry, however, so I ate it. An hour later, I had to interrupt my road trip to spend some time at a rest stop after my Culver's meal literally made me sick. Depends who is taking your order and who is cooking:) I love their fried Cod platter but they MUST TEACH THEIR COOKS TO DRAIN all the hot oil on paper towel before serving it! Are they "too cheap" to purchase paper towels? as this is so important a "step" when you serve fried fish". I have burnt my mouth numerous times, and my hands are SOAKED with oil, along with the MANY paper napkins I must use to "drench up the oil on their fish. The last time I was there, I was feed up", and showed my plate to the cashier on my "way out", stating(nicely) that one day"they'll have a lawsuity" as McDonalds did, because of a Burn. I have "learned" to be cautious, but I shouldn't "have too". Next step is emailing the coparation head, as this is the case at ALL CULVERS with their fish platters.Then, by the time you eat your "second piece of Cod, it is SO SOAKING WET the batter falls off!
