It was a great time had by myself and them, the admission price was $7.00 for all three of us to go into the museum. For the boys the associate in the gift shop gave them a scavanger hunt to do while we visited the museum upstairs. I loved the idea so it made them look all over at things to find the little white squares with the symbols on them. Took the boys 2 times through the museum to find them all. After that we then walked through and looked at things and then explained it to them. We all loved the museum. Highly recommend taking the children there for a visit, get them out into the fresh air.

We ran into some issues (there were issues before, but they had escalated due to lack of enough supervision) and I kept calling to check on the status on the waiting list. Thank the good Lord that we were able to start taking our son here. I love the photos I get throughout the day assuring me he is cared for well. He is still adjusting as he is crying during drop off AND pick up :). But once you enter the place you can see that it is clean and inviting. Ms. Jenna and the director Ms. Andrea have been phenomenal with answering questions and they are both just so sweet. You can tell they love what they do (the day of the tour they both were decked out for St. Patty's lol) The facility itself is very roomy with big classrooms. I like also the little porch area they have for the kids to still be able to play outside or get fresh air even if it were to rain a bit or be too hot to go all the way out without the cover of a roof. It's a gated porch and each classroom has their own so the kids are secured. My son is learning many things here already and I can't wait until he starts being able to vocalize more his new knowledge.

This place is like an oasis in the middle of Central Texas, there are ample resources, supplies, rooms, and accommodations which made it easy and flexible. The staff here were phenomenal and worked diligently to meet our needs - - they're eager to please. I dealt primarily with Laura Nickel who was very helpful throughout the scheduling and set-up process. We also had last minute changes and adjustments the week before - - but no worries w/ Laura as I learned she thrives on challenges like these. She remained positive and focused to ensure everything was quality good and met our expectations, and her staff were polite, professional, flexible and accommodating. I was so impressed w/ their positive attitudes as well as their spot-on execution even when we changed things up at the last minute. There were close to 40 people in our group as we requested a particular set-up with tables and chairs to facilitate learning workshops, Laura and her staff flexed to meet our needs and that helped make things run a lot smoother during our time there. I took a small tour of the grounds and was really impressed with the offerings and environment. They had everything one could possibly need - - podium, speakers, lighting, chairs, tables, and a variety of spaces to choose from. I would not hesitate to reach out to them in the future for any group activity or camping / outing / team-building adventure planned as there is ample grounds to play and rooms to facilitate whatever your heart desires. There are also several bedrooms for overnight stays and large kitchen spaces with all the tools you need. It actually was very peaceful and quiet there during the week which helped limit distractions, and most of all the customer service was top notch. I could not be happier with Laura and her staff's performance, they work hard to please and went above and beyond. I think Laura could tackle any obstacle and challenge that any corporation / company / team brings to the table as she finds way to meet your needs and obviously loves her work. It was a memorable week and we'll definitely utilize them again in the near future.

Part of the founders and board have children that attend the school and I believe they are wholeheartedly invested in the future and direction of the Montessori. We feel so fortunate to have our daughter attending this Montessori, preparing her for life. The garden is lovely, the school setting is unique, it's also a small student to teacher ratio.

My four year old daughter has flourished here over the last year. This school resonates with my…read morechild and fosters her independence of the everyday tasks. She asks to help me around the house (cooking, making her own lunch, sweeping, mopping, cleaning mirrors, watering plants, taking care of her dog and fish) At Salado Montessori, they learn through physically getting involved in the activity at hand,(everyday fundamentals like washing hands, getting dressed (my daughter learned to tie her shoes in a day), motor skills like opening and closing boxes and organizing blocks based on size, music (beat, tone, instruments), sounding out words, addition and subtraction, days of the week). She wakes up and gets dressed on her own, brushes her own teeth and takes pride in it all because it gives her a sense of accomplishment. This school is teaching her how to learn, not what to learn. Salado Montessori has created an amazing community, parents willingly volunteer their time. They periodically have volutuneer days, where the parents and children can be a part of bettering the school together (i.e.planting gardens, reorganizing the classroom). The teacher, Ms. Webb for lack of a better word, is AMAZING! She is patient, observes well and interacts without hindering the learning process. She is organized, happy and cares deeply for each individual child. She allows parents to observe the learning process throughout the school year and meets with us one on one to discuss the growth of our child. She gives ideas to me about how I can continue to foster growth throughout the home and how to speak to my daughter to further her own excitement about learning. I truly believe Ms. Webb helps my individual child grow in every aspect of her life, and is not just a teacher filling a time slot during the school day. Also, this school was one of the only schools around that allowed for a half day, full day, and before and after child care programs. I can not say enough good things about this school.
