I would like to give an A+ rating for clean friendly service. Mike did the piercing and he was very thorough with explaining the whole procedure and the aftercare. Did it hurt? Well yeah but just a pinch and it's over. As for swelling I didn't have any swelling or pain and the sensitivity was gone in a day. Everything healed up nicely. Not sure what the guy behind the desk name is but he was extremely nice and made you feel comfortable as soon as you walked in. Thanks for the great experience I will keep this place in mind for my next tattoo.

I won't lie - it hurt - but it was quick and the healing process has been great so far. I love the inside of this studio. I really wasn't sure what to expect from this place since I'm brand new to Youngstown. Admittedly,…read moreI was worried at first since I passed a few streets that looked like the one I live on just blocks away. However, once I pulled up, I saw that the area is actually super cute and almost hipster-ish (but not in a douchey way!!) Once inside, I was immediately greeted by a friendly girl and shortly after another friendly girl as well. Since there were a few people ahead of me to get piercings, I chatted with them until it was my turn to get pierced. The gal (holy shitballs I sound like an old man for calling her that) who did the piercing was super nice and very friendly and didn't make me feel stupid. (She ALSO wiped away my tears as she pierced my nose!) All in all, this entire experience was excellent. everybody in the shop seems to have found the perfect harmony of friendly and professional, and I give them all mad props for that, and I will DEFINITELY be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Upon entering, I noticed just how clean this place is and the smiling person sitting at the desk welcoming us. There is an amazing variety of tattoo graphics lining the walls which made me start thinking about my next piece of wearable art. We were escorted to the piercing stand where Lisa came out to show the jewelry and prices. They have a nice selection of studs and other type of jewelry for piercing. Lisa also answered all of my questions and really helped to ease my fear. I felt very comfortable and decided to just do it. Sanitary protocols were adhered to and after a quick little pinch and a watery eye, it was done. It was so easy and I now have a nose piercing! I recommend this spot to anyone looking for tattoos or piercings. Service is friendly, fast and clean. I can't wait to come back for more.

I must admit, I am friends with Ian. When I found out they (he and his boss Herb) were coming to…read moreCA for a tattoo convention I was stoked. I decided I was gonna get a tat. I told Ian I wanted a tigerlily on my foot. When I got to the convention we walked to sterilize his equipment and then went back to his stand. They had the most comfortable bench for me to sit on. He told me how his boss builds the benches and arm rests. We talked more about my tat and he quickly drew something. He listened when I told him to change things. He was fast but not rushing. He took the time he needed to make sure it was done right. It no doubt hurt a bit, but the pain was tolerable. We laughed and caught up while he worked. I barely noticed what was happening. Passerbys notice how relaxed I was, and Ian really helped to make the experience (not just cause he's my friend). It has been three weeks almost and it is completely healed. I am consistently getting compliments. Many people think it looks more like a painting than a tattoo. The most important thing is sanitary when getting a tattoo, I believe talent is next then you must find an artist you can talk to. Ian, as a person, has always been an easy guy to get along with. Setting biases aside, I would go back in a second to him. His professional standards are high and his workmanship is excellent.

Squirrelly, introduced himself and we started chatting about his work and his look books. He asked if I loved tats why didn't I have any and I told him I had never found the right place. His response was "That's cause you ain't been here!" He was right! Within minutes I was describing what I wanted and he had the girls drawing it up. I have gone to many different tattoo shops and nobody ever bothered to draw for me. And as they put it they were shocked since my design request was very simple. I wanted a moon and sun with two stars. It is a memorial tat for my parents and two brothers who have passed. I cried when they showed it to me... I just cried. So did my sister. The way the moon is hugging the sun is so perfectly like my father! And the colors he used, it all just is so perfect! I could never thank this man and girls enough. Squirrelly is such a character. An old gruff biker tattoo artist who I am pretty sure has a heart of gold down under that smart ass nature. In talks with him I learned he has been tattooing for almost 40 years I believe he told me. He has taught hard for tattoo artist in our area even helping to work on legislation for the art! His walls are chockablock full of art and in between all that you will find trophies, certificates and awards of all kinds that he has earned. It's quite evident he knows his craft and again I cannot be more happy that I chose him for my first ink! If you want a fair price for great work check him out!
