I must admit, I am friends with Ian. When I found out they (he and his boss Herb) were coming to…read moreCA for a tattoo convention I was stoked. I decided I was gonna get a tat. I told Ian I wanted a tigerlily on my foot. When I got to the convention we walked to sterilize his equipment and then went back to his stand. They had the most comfortable bench for me to sit on. He told me how his boss builds the benches and arm rests. We talked more about my tat and he quickly drew something. He listened when I told him to change things. He was fast but not rushing. He took the time he needed to make sure it was done right. It no doubt hurt a bit, but the pain was tolerable. We laughed and caught up while he worked. I barely noticed what was happening. Passerbys notice how relaxed I was, and Ian really helped to make the experience (not just cause he's my friend). It has been three weeks almost and it is completely healed. I am consistently getting compliments. Many people think it looks more like a painting than a tattoo. The most important thing is sanitary when getting a tattoo, I believe talent is next then you must find an artist you can talk to. Ian, as a person, has always been an easy guy to get along with. Setting biases aside, I would go back in a second to him. His professional standards are high and his workmanship is excellent.

Upon entering, I noticed just how clean this place is and the smiling person sitting at the desk welcoming us. There is an amazing variety of tattoo graphics lining the walls which made me start thinking about my next piece of wearable art. We were escorted to the piercing stand where Lisa came out to show the jewelry and prices. They have a nice selection of studs and other type of jewelry for piercing. Lisa also answered all of my questions and really helped to ease my fear. I felt very comfortable and decided to just do it. Sanitary protocols were adhered to and after a quick little pinch and a watery eye, it was done. It was so easy and I now have a nose piercing! I recommend this spot to anyone looking for tattoos or piercings. Service is friendly, fast and clean. I can't wait to come back for more.

However, once I pulled up, I saw that the area is actually super cute and almost hipster-ish (but not in a douchey way!!) Once inside, I was immediately greeted by a friendly girl and shortly after another friendly girl as well. Since there were a few people ahead of me to get piercings, I chatted with them until it was my turn to get pierced. The gal (holy shitballs I sound like an old man for calling her that) who did the piercing was super nice and very friendly and didn't make me feel stupid. All in all, this entire experience was excellent. everybody in the shop seems to have found the perfect harmony of friendly and professional, and I give them all mad props for that, and I will DEFINITELY be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

First of all, I arrived and couldn't get anyone to come help me for a solid ten minutes, because like any classy business owner he was out smoking on the back porch. He proceeded to finally pierce me, but it took him at least 10 minutes to put the earring through the puncture site as he was fumbling around with his fat sausage fingers. I considered offering to finish the job myself. He also made innapporappite sexual comments to me such as the fact that I shouldnt feel bad screaming at the pain because, "he makes all women scream." I left and when I went to my piercer back home to get the earring switched out, she asked me who butchered me ear. She said he pierced at an angle through as much cartilage as possible which explains how painful it was. Two years later I still have constant swelling and pain. Point of story: do not let this incompetent baboon touch you.
