Amazing service and a great local business that folks in the area should go to for their car needs!…read moreI needed to get my brakes replaced (pads and rotors) and other places were quoting me double what Luke quoted. I appreciate his honest business and fair prices. He does not try to take advantage of those who may not know too much about cars. In addition, his business is mobile and he can come to you. Even though he is based in Elkhart he came out to me in Granger and has serviced cars all over the area. This is very convenient especially for those that may be students. I highly recommend The Brake Team for your car needs! If I have any future car issues, I will definitely be going to Luke.

After hearing from my insurance company, he called me personally and asked about my safety, and arrived to help me as quickly as he could. It was freezing out, so he asked me if I would like to wait in his truck. After getting my car all hooked up, he took me to a repair shop. In the meantime, there was a change of where I was supposed to get towed to, and Tim had called my insurance company in an attempt to resolve it for me, so that I would not have to deal with them. He was so friendly, so kind to be worried about me being worried, and he really did everything in his power to help me. I was so panicked at first, but Tim made me feel that he had it handled, and he did. I am so grateful, thank you for everything Tim, you were beyond awesome!

My experience with this shop was below any imaginable dishonesty perform by this kind of business…read more I would N E V E R recommend this shop to anyone !!!!! I responded to received advertisement offering free winter inspection. I was "on the alert mode" during the process, due to behavior of 2 man working in the front/office. As presented on attached estimate, I was informed that my car needs a replacement of rear breaks with the routers. Provided cost for this job was $512.71. Later I verified price for the parts if I would choose to move forward, which is approximately $170. I checked condition of my brakes with 2 other shops resulting in the same evaluation: all my brakes are in perfect condition (almost new}. 2nd issue presented to me was leak from Valve Cover Gasket. Replacement of that gasket was priced for $712.77. I check that cost with other shop. Quoted price was $200. Ironically my car didn't need that job as well. The mechanic "doing this inspection" sprayed some fluid excessively, to provide visual evidence. Afterword I monitored level of my oil, especially after longer trips. The level of my oil was and is perfect. After cleaning the fluid sprayed by Skiles Automotive mechanic, there are no more stains under my hood. One of the mechanics re-inspecting my car expressed " that this is outrage and insult to the industry". I agree with 1,000% intensity. I don't know how many people in this shop are involved in this stilling. I had dealing with 3 workers: Joey Garcia ; Service Advisor, Tim Wrightsman : Service Advisor and the mechanic. I am expressing my very sincere compassion to those who were taking advantage off by those "crooks". I would not feel save even park my car there.
