This place is very disappointing. They're hours are very inaccurate, I've wasted a lot of time driving over there during their hours just to find out that they are closed. Never answer their phone, never there during their hours, great business model lol read more

If you desire a place to do some heel and toe rappin/some down right honey Tonkin everyday to Some blue holler smiles of pie tappin. Boot and scoots with the branches of the docie doughin tree/ gallop them wheels down to a the waterin hole of legends of southern caped hospitality. A visitation to sure to leave that daughter and father ring around your souls to return over and over again . We must support the personable businesses the backbones that built and supplied needs of dreams along the railed piers with smiles and names remembered . read more

I needed an unusual item -- Vandoren alto sax reeds from France and they were able to accomodate! Impressive. I also picked up the best portable music stand I have ever had at a very reasonable price. A great owner-operated store that deserves all our support in these troubled times! read more

This is the country store of music stores. Saturdays you can stop by and listen to a group of pickers playing anything from bluegrass to country with a little sixty stuff throne in. Lessons for Violin, Guitar, Dobro and Mandolin are available. There is a fine collection of old guitars to look at and a nice selection of new instruments for sale. Not to mention a real craftsman to repair your musical instrument. Prices are reasonable and it's a place where they service what they sell. read more

Great down home atmosphere and friendly service at this small town music shop. Worth a visit just for the display of vintage instruments and pictures. Live music on Saturdays. read more

What great service! I'm not a banjo player but am hoping to become one. I bought a beginner banjo online and one of the tuning pegs was broken. I could have shipped it back for a replacement, but it would have taken two weeks and I leave for vacation in two days. I called Culpeper Music and not only did he repair my banjo at a reasonable rate in three hours, he also had all the accessories I needed to get started. What a pleasant surprise to find this place in town! read more

We have been in business since 1984. We sell a variety of musical instruments. We have an excellent luthier who does all of our repairs. We have a laid back demeanor and aim to please our customers. On Saturdays, we have live music all day. We also buy instruments and accept consignments. We currently have 3 teachers and offer lessons for guitar, mandolin, bass, violin, banjo and ukulele. They were able to come the very next morning at 7AM. They lifted the baby grand off the truck no problem (buff dudes) and had it assembled in my conservatory before I had even come downstairs. Reasonably priced too, especially considering how last minute the booking was.
