I've been into cigars for 30 years now. I've been through the Boom, the Bust, and now the New Boom…read more I've seen garbage shops and fantastic shops. This is a fantastic shop. It's a hidden gem, tucked away but definitely worth seeking out. When I stopped by, the fellow shook my hand, introduced himself, and showed me around. It's NOT a mass market impersonal shop. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Cigar selection is quite good. They don't lean heavy on what I call "mass market handmades" like Padron or Fuente, BUT the selection of boutique brands (RoMa, Tabernacle) is outstanding. Indeed, near my home base it's difficult for me to get those kinds of sticks, but here the only difficulty is pacing myself from not buying everything they have. They do have a great selection of Drew Estates brands as well, so it all evens out I think. Prices are very fair - again, for a sometimes hard to find like Aquitaine Mode 5, it's fantastic that they have a good stock at an approachable price point. The fellow working today had great product knowledge - again, refreshing! So yeah - this is a bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it. Sure I could go mail order, but I like being able to see the cigars and make sure they are in good shape before I hand over the green. I'll be a regular here and I encourage any cigar aficionado in the area to do the same. A perfect example of how a cigar shop should be done!!!
