They also have a very secure vault with the original films from Disney, Columbia Pictures, Warner Brothers, and more. Tours are offered every year during their Open House. Every Friday night, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday evening, the public can see old school movies in their beautifully-designed theatre in their lobby. Movie screenings are free! If you have the chance, go outside to see the giant pool surrounding the brutalist architecture.

The school will tell you how safe their campus is with hundreds of cameras everywhere keeping them safe and protected. But when your daughter gets assaulted in the quad suddenly there's no footage of the assault and the star athlete that attacked her has zero consequences and the police reports disappear and they try to make it all go away and pretend that it didn't happen. this all happened years ago, but my daughter still has physical and mental trauma, including severe migraine. It'll probably last her the rest of her life and the university could care less the way we were treated was disgusting. we are reminded every day of the injustice that occurred on this campus when we see our daughter in pain almost a decade later. stay away from this corrupt institution

This campus is cleaner, nicer. But it is smaller, and is often quiet and deserted on weekends. The library is usually empty on weekends. It's a good place to study. There's no public parking.. only temporary parking.. if you're gonna be there more than 1 or 2 hours.. you have to pay.

This Library is very cool!…read more This was my first time visiting this library and I was very impressed with how aesthetically pleasing it looks on the inside, how many breakout rooms there were, a gaming room, separated area's for children's play, teenagers, study space/working space, lounge space for older patrons with bigger lounge chairs, etc. I spent about 2 hours here with some children and they very much enjoyed the children's learning area. There were magnetic busy boards, busy games, wall games, magnetic dominos, puppets, magnetic people mix and match, and the books! While here, I noticed people of all ages, ethnicities and abilities enjoying the services of the library. It was very clean and I was impressed with the spread of variety of things for different groups. There were DnD groups renting out rooms, coders, puzzlers, arts and crafters, and much more. It was a very pleasant and safe experience, we will visit again.

I found a quiet corner with a great desk near an outlet to finish up work for the day. The wifi was strong and I enjoyed all the natural lighting. They have a great selection of books in several genres - all for unbelievably great prices! I ended up buying two thriller books and will return to buy board games and more books sometime. It is in a nice new building that is shared with Albemarle County. There are county ESOL offices upstairs and the county warehouse downstairs. Northside has a vast selection of books and other materials. You can do everything from check out a book to check out an internet hotspot for school work. Have kids and want to go to the Virginia Discovery Museum? You can pick up free passes here. The same is true for Va State Parks. The State Park kit includes a backpack with educational activities for kids. Interested in sewing or embroidery? Northside has maker kits that can be checked out as well. One of the services that I use are their meeting rooms. You can check out meeting spaces for 2 hours at a time. They are enclosed spaces with up to 4 people. It has an exterior monitor for presentations with multiple inputs. Don't want to come inside, no worries... they have drive up window to pick up and drop off books. Don't want to do that either? THEIR IS LITERALLY A MAN SLEEPING AND SNORING SO LOUDLY and the staff has said/done nothing. This is unacceptable!!!
