I got my husband and my taxes done here in 2020 because my family has been going here since the…read more90's. I guess I didn't make the right decision in going here at all, because they are incompetent. I don't know why, but my mom and grandparents still go to this lady to do their taxes.. My mom use to claim me as a dependent when I was a college student and before I had children. Well the lady who did our taxes knew that and on my taxes she checked the box that said I will be claimed as a dependent on someone else's taxes. This screwed up everything. When you are claimed as a "dependent" you can't claim others as "dependents", so my kids weren't claimed as dependents on our taxes.... so We didn't get back money for our children on our return, we didn't get the first and second stimulus, and NOW we didn't even get the third stimulus in full because my children weren't even claimed last year.. we filed an amended return with another person, and it's just been sitting at the irs in an 18 wheeler for a year. The lady who did our taxes screwed us out of OVER $10,000 with stimulus payments and tax returns... they should be paying us back for all of that to be honest.
