This store offers ice cream and candy. The walls are covered in different types of candy which was fun to look at. The staff were done nice high school age folk who were helpful in deciding which flavors to get - there were plenty of options! The portions were generous and the ice cream was super creamy. Perfect for going off on a hot day. The prices weren't bad either - around $8 for my two large scoops!

I really like Cullens - 4 stars. I've been to the Coon Rapids location but this was my first stop at the Champlin location. It's a great place. They have lots of ice cream (of course) including a freezer full of packaged ice cream to-go. But Cullens has a lot more than ice cream...they have hundreds of varieties of candy, they have a big cooler full of craft style sodas, and they have popcorn! The customer service is great, the variety of sweets is impressive, and the prices are reasonable. I'd go back again any time. Thumbs up! -Maxx

Service was good, so many flavors to choose from, and the price was fair. Unfortunately I forgot what flavor I got, Oreo cheesecake I think? I came around closing at 7:40 and sat at a table for a little while, but didn't feel pressure to leave which I think speaks well of the staff. 5/5, would return and try more flavors! I got a size up from the kids scoop, the second option he offered and paid 5.74.

I live 10 minutes from Champlin and have missed Cullens for 16 months letting this small town gem go unnoticed. It has the feel of a 1950's candy/ ice cream shop and has colorful but limited seating. You are treated to two once cream counters with home made ice cream, unique flavors and a lot of homemade specialties. We tried the ice cream, my kids wore a lot of it as evidenced by the photos and we even picked up some classic candy on the way out. The kids scoop is a good size for those not wanting a ton of ice cream and the family found its new ice cream home In the NW Metro!

Small little ice cream shop tucked away in a strip mall . The hours are a little funky also was told very seasonal so beware . The prices are decent 3.25 and up . They have some interesting flavors such as midnight double chocolate and superman also the pistachio is also highly recommend . If you're in the area And their craving ice cream check that spot out exclamation

One of my best friends swore that this was the best ice cream of the northern suburbs. He did not lie. Special props to Lillian for guiding to one of the hidden gems in the Key Lime Pie. I wouldn't have asked for that as one of my first picks but she was right on. What a great attitude about the whole thing. What a fun team. Next time I'm up there, this I'll definitely be one of my stop offs. Props to the team and the owners. You've got a great thing going!

Cullens is a ADORABLE little shop that has a HUGE selection of ice creams, old fashion candy/beverages and great customer service. Staff keeps the place clean and in great shape. They are great at helping you navigate all their flavors and helping you decide. (They helped me pick out a flavor I'd happily go back for over and over again). They also help you get in and out in a timely matter. (We all know we've waited in lines for tooo long waiting for some delicious ice cream at a DQ atleast once growing up...) They don't have a huge seating area in the shop but there is a large parking lot with grass out there to sit on. Some additional benches might be nice but not required. The staff is generous with their scoops, and they have a huge selection of candy and I'm not sure if there is anything better then a candy shop that doubles as a ice cream shop! I definitely plan to return for a delicious homemade waffle cone with their ice cream again!

Great local joint! Just opened up. This is just as good as any ice cream place I've been. Sabastian, grand ol, Sonny's. They don't have booze, but they do have old school candy and sodas. The servings are huge and the staff is very friendly. Easy 5 stars in my book! Everyone come get some!

I've had Cedar Crest via grocery store and hand-scooped from ice cream shoppes, and my personal favorite is the Coconut Explosion!

We also tried a sample of their strawberry flavor and that was delicious! You really can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Service was so friendly and helpful and I love supporting a business with such a wonderful mission. It's so cute inside, too with those popcorn lights. The owner said they hope to be online soon, so that will be great for ordering in between visits. They carry a line of soda pop from Northern Soda Company so we grabbed a few of those for a taste test later. Our favorite was the pontoon punch.

He told me they have been open since February and they are.a non-profit with a mission to hire folks with developmental disabilities. The owner's son has autism and that inspired him to create a place where people with disabilities could work. His son has his own line of pop products in the store. I grabbed a root beer and - I am very picky about my root beers - it was absolutely delicious. They have seasonal popcorn flavors as well as their regulars. You can get tubs, bags, or cups. You can also grab some cool merch while you're there! I got a tub of caramel popcorn, which was gone in an embarrassingly short amount of time. The tub was $10. I also got a limited time flavor, jalapeño cheddar. It wasn't my favorite because it was very cheesy and I don't like a lot of cheese on my popcorn. But if you do - definitely for you! I also got a T-shirt because their logo is awesome and I love that they are a nonprofit. I was the only person in here for the entire time I was there (30-45mins). They have tables and chairs to sit at, a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff are so friendly. I'd definitely recommend for your next movie night or a little snack with a friend.

Had lunch and was getting ready to leave when I smelled the popcorn again and the smell persuaded me to go upstairs to check it out. We were greeted by Teddy, and he had the best customer service. So welcoming and so confident about his popcorn! Said it's one of the best caramel popcorns in the Midwest. I didn't believe him until he gave us a sample - I was a quick believer!! When he gave us the sample it was still warm and oh so perfect. Then he said it's even better 5 days later!! There's no way my popcorn will last 5 days once I bring it home to the kids! Such a great find! I'll definitely be back!

This particular mall is half dead... lots of empty shuttered shops (not exactly surprising that close to MoA). There wasn't a lot of foot traffic on a Monday afternoon. Ever since moving to the area from Texas, I have been attempting to find a replacement popcorn shop to get a good kettle corn that I like. So after work, I decided to try this place. I found Teddy B's within the mall easily using the map at the mall entrance, and the fella working the shop was extremely friendly and eager to promote the brand and flavors. He immediately offered me a free sample, giving me a small cup of both their "Sugar Bear" and "Butter Bear" flavors when I indicated an interest. Both were really tasty, so I requested he make me a medium-sized bag with both in it. He was actually out of medium-sized bags, so he upsized me to a large free of charge! What a kind gesture. I really appreciated it. (I think it's likely a lot of popcorn gets tossed at the end of the day, so his generosity in sizing and samples makes sense. Treating consumers this way is a great business strategy, assuredly. I noticed the troughs weren't very full, but had strategically pushed to the front to make them look fuller than they were. Nice to know product isn't being wasted unnecessarily just for "appearances," imo.) Price was definitely decent for volume of product. Flavor is good. He said it's all popped with coconut oil and the product should last for up to two weeks. He also said no powders are used in creation of the flavors. They also sell cute teddy bear plushies with various outfits, because why not apparently, lol. I'll likely continue to sample other popcorn places near me too, but Teddy B's did well by me!
