There are others in the class that are wanting to learn as a profession. My two favorite instructors are Chef Pascal and Chef Stacy (In no particular order). It would be difficult to find more inspirational, seasoned Chef's to guide you through a class. The kitchen environment is 100% professional. Saddleback should be proud of wha they have! The classes are 4-5 hours and the time flies. Lecture, prep, assemble, taste some food!, clean up, and recap. Sounds like a lot, but it is really worth it. I will note; it is work to learn. You will need to prepare food, clean up after yourself (maybe others) and leave the kitchen better than when you got there.

It was very intimate and Evan was so fun to have around. He cooked an amazing shrimp pasta, Brussel sprouts, a grilled Caesar salad, with his home made dressing & for dessert bananas foster! My dad loved his grilled Caesar salad so much he tried replicating it a few days later. We had great conversations with Evan and truly enjoyed having him at our house. This was the best food safety training I've ever gone too…read more The instructor was funny yet he delivered the information so clearly that I was able to internalize it not only to remember it on the test but it is part of my knowledge base now. Another thing he did was tell very quick stories that tide into the information in a way take allowed me to fully understand hard concepts! Plus he seamed to be very passionate about what he did, which I believe is important for any instructor, and he knew the material 100%!!
