We stopped in for a quick cup of coffee and a light snack and at first I loved the little restaurant. I was surprised that it had only a few patrons because it was so clean and the display of food items appeared to be very fresh.
We walked up to the counter to place our order and was told that the credit card authorization machine was down. The employee was unable to serve us if we didn't have their currency. Next came the suggestion that if we didn't we should visit a "hole in the wallI" down the street. Luckily..We prepared for our trip with euros and pounds so that we did not have to worry about credit cards. Another patron jumped in and mentioned that if we needed an exchange that the post office across the street would be able to assist. He added that the exchange rate was fair.
I enjoyed my coffee and the sandwiches were very good. The staff was a little stiff and didn't engage but the local patrons were friendly and interesting. read more
