I'm new to Richmond, and I've found that a good work ethic seems to be uncommon here. Carlos was available by text and email as well. In this digital pandemic age, sometimes it can be hard to actually answer the phone, so that was great for me. The best part of all, out of every quote I received, his was the best price! We decided to get the dimensional tab, and another business quoted us 5 thousand dollars more than Master Pro Services (no exaggeration!). His work comes with a 5 year labor warranty, and the dimensional shingles come with a 30 year, one time transferable warranty, so it's safe to say that I feel I can rest easy now because of Master Pro! My key Issues: Bait-and-Switch Pricing: The final quote was more than double the original agreed-upon price with vague and VERY inconsistent reasoning. Vanishing Deposit: When I chose to cancel due to the massive price hike, they claimed my entire deposit had already been "used up" on excavation. Lack of Integrity: They committed to a budget just to get the signature, only to move the goalposts immediately after. We are currently pursuing legal action to address these practices. This company is simply not worth the stress or the financial risk. I met many reputable masonry and concrete companies during my bidding phase--I strongly suggest you look elsewhere, you've been warned.
