Because of the expertise, professionalism, and compassion of the Farr Law Firm I was able to meet with attorney Farr quickly and be apprised of my options. In short order, the firm, through Jeannie, helped me place my mother in a nearby, highly rated nursing home in Virginia (NOT an easy task) and supported me through several Medicare appeals regarding the initial part of Mom's care. Other members of the Elder Law Team, paralegals Seresa and Grace, provided total support for a successful Medicaid application, complicated by a claim for a Medicaid Caregiver Exemption for my brother. Grace continues to provide exceptional service on all matters big and small. She is professional and expert in explaining and implementing the steps in the process of qualifying for eligibility and protecting assets. She is knowledgeable and reassuring in examining the what-ifs of different complicated scenarios. She was stalwart in responding in those rare instances of nursing home billing errors when the corporate "tone" became unnecessarily adversarial. I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude for her help whenever needed. My mother's estate is modest. With the help of the Farr Law Firm her assets are protected to the greatest extent permissible, far more than I imagined and that I could have achieved on my own. Most importantly, because of attorney Farr's expertise my mother's wishes regarding my brother were able to be honored. The fees of the Farr Law Firm are extremely fair given the results they are able to achieve. I continue to retain their excellent services.

Unresponsive My wife…read moreDenise submitted a detailed inquiry via Farr Law Firm's website seeking a consultation regarding an aging parent with dementia. We provided our contact information as required. Over a week later, no response (no phone call or voicemail and no email, and yes we checked our spam and promotions folders). Attached is a screenshot after submitting the webform showing it was received and "We will get back to you as soon as possible!" It's obvious by now they are not going to respond. The professional thing to do is respond even if they don't feel they can help us, instead of simply ignoring the inquiry. And there are no excuses such as: "We never check inquiries via our website." If that's the case then remove the webform from your website. "We prefer that inquiries are made over the phone." If that's the case then again, remove the webform from your website. "The employee responsible for checking the online inquiries forgot to do it." The employee should be counseled about the potential loss of business to the law firm by such inattentive behavior. "We read your inquiry and decided we can't or won't help you, for whatever reason." The professional and responsive thing to do in this case is to simply communicate that to the person who submitted the inquiry.

Calm. Methodical. Respected. He didn't scare me or overpromise -- he just executed. And let's be honest: his pricing is insanely fair. You will not find better representation for this kind of outcome anywhere in Virginia. Hands down the best money I've spent on legal help. Trust Paul. Follow his lead. If you take your driving privilege as seriously as I do, you need someone who has been in this space for more than a few decades. They are well know and respected by judge's and prosecutors as well as law enforcement. I am very pleased with the outcome and the fair pricing from the McGlone firm... Would highly recommend!!

First off, I want to apologize. Mr. Yoon as I could've sworn I submitted a Yelp Review after he…read moretook on my personal affairs. Mr. Yoon saw me from a million miles away as I entered the courtroom and nervously waited for my time to present my appeal and request for work/medical license due to legal ramifications I had placed myself in due to my negligent abuse of alcohol which when coupled with my untreated alcoholism led my DUI and to my criminal conviction and revocation of my rights to operate a motor vehicle until my sentence, probationary fees, and other legal fees were accounted for. Mr. Yoon approached me in the courthouse in 2015-2016, apologies for the gap in time as the specific date alludes me, as our greatest enemy is time, but I digress. Mr. Yoon identified that I was walking into a metaphorical minefield as it was extremely obvious that I was out of my depth when I walked in. He briefly asked me about my situation I was in and represented me and assisted me with my appeal in my case. He requested that I submit a Yelp Review, I could've sworn I already wrote one, but I have found myself in a moment of retrospection, reminiscing about how noble and just his shear presence was and how comforting he was during my state of vulnerability. I regret that the DUI happened at all in the first place and that I lost the career that I loved so much. But I am thankful that no one was hurt or killed as a result of my stupidty as I firmly know I would not be able to live with myself if I caused undue harm or death to my fellow american(s) or human being. I found myself yearning to address this once more to hopefully mentor someone that may be going through a bad time in their life that it is OK to reach out for support as there are many other people out there amongst us that have fallen into war with themselves and their past, present, and the fear and uncertainty that the future holds for us. But if we arm ourselves with knowledge and build each other up rather than tear each other down as Mr. Yoon exemplifies by his character and willingness to help those that lack proper representation. In my closing statements, I hope to leave these breadcrumbs to help other lost souls and pay it forward, because without a person like Mr. Yoon, I would not be the man I am today. Sometimes we can't see the forest for all the trees. - John Heywood Everyday is a new day, and although we in our life may face bad days, remember that we have resources available to us and that sometimes it's our mindset that causes these feelings of incompetency that misguide us and only harm us further. From our very first meeting with Mr Brown, he presented a sense of calm compassion; and was not only helpful from a legal perspective, but also gave my wife and I a stable emotional focus whenever things seemed frightening, hopeless, and upsetting. During that first meeting, Tom Brown gave us a clear understanding of the difficulties of succeeding with a case such as ours, and an accurate perspective regarding the relevant risks. In addition, rather than enlist us as clients immediately, he agreed to advise us as we worked with a third party, independent adjuster (someone who also proved to be a consummate expert - who helped us through our 3-year ordeal. When this adjuster felt the time was right, Mr Brown then began taking action. This process turned out to be exactly the right way to handle things and is the only reason we did not 'lose our shirts'. Bottom line - Tom Brown, and the entire team at Silver and Brown, are worth their weight in gold! They are wonderful people who care about their clients and do everything in their power to render the best possible assistance. We were thoroughly satisfied with the results.

I ended up wasting six months and about $4K, paid in fees, with no outcome with Geller Law. I was first requested to have a mandatory paid initial consultation session to go over my legal help needed. I was introduced to Julie S. during this session. After describing my specific case & needs, she informed me that Geller Law can handle my case. What followed was months of emotional stress & redundant conversations with the staff of this firm that yielded no results. It became clear to me that they didn't know how to legally handle my case. Some staff members were argumentative & appeared trying to take advantage of this emotional situation for me. There were redundant conversations that I was later billed for. I concluded that this firm is not the choice that can handle my case professionally. I terminated my work with them. The new law firm I selected to handle my case turned out to be more knowledgeable for my case. And, more compassionate with me. The process was handled smoothly & professionally to completion.
