Things have downplayed at this location. I've been here for over four years, this is my second stint at this location. I have seen managers come and go, one even died of a heart attack on premise and he was a charm.
I work out of state and sometimes forget to pay my bill on the first of month but it's never a big deal, because I eventually pay it.from past management, I know when my late fees are due and I have never minded paying them. I also have insurance on my storage. Sometimes I hit the ten day mark and I get emails and phone calls from one of the gentleman there, a courteous reminder. I always pay the late fee and carry on.because I work out of state, I don't get to the location much. I was in Salt lake this 9th of April, got to the location at 354 pm, my code didn't work, it said it was suspended. I waited for someone to leave and entered, only to find a dinky red padlock on my door, below my lock. I traveled from Idaho to pick up something, but I had to leave the premise because I couldn't get into my storage.note: I always pay my bill, no matter the small late fee, As I looked around, I noticed red locks on other doors...as if someone has finally decided to get off their butt and be a new sheriff in town.
Been here for four years and never had this problem, and I paid my bill tonight, but this is the question: does cube smart want my late fees...I mean, it's more money in their pocket and though I pay an insurance fee,I notice lights on in locked storage containers all the time. What if they catch on fire...? And of course, I've knocked on the door of the kid who resides in the apt connected to the office, telling him which containers have lights on, blistering away, waiting to catch fire and When I come back, the same lights are blistering away.
I find it hilarious, that one day, I receive a message from management and the next day there is a lock on my door, though, it's their job to make a profit. AND Ive talked to past management about others who rent on the facility who have not paid rent in substantially longer periods, but some dimwit assumes they are going to intimidate me after four years of storing my things in an overpriced mouse infested storage facility.
This is the worse management crew, I've encountered and where I once felt comfortable with the three fro the past, I think I am going to prepare to find a more decent minded facility.
Four years at 80 plus dollars a month and finally they decide to put a flimsy lock on my storage because I am late, though I don't mind playing the late fees.what kind of company is this? They're not knocking over doors to feel storage containers, their are plenty empty.
If I am out in the wilderness and accept paying a ten or twenty dollar late fee, that's my decision. You will not attempt to bully me by putting a less than fortunate lock on my storage (showing your true concern for costumers anyhow..you can't even put the same lock I purchased from your office on the damn door)
A customer for those amount of years, I will never recommend your company to another living soul. Never has this happened until now....why? read more
