That being said, my experience has left a bad taste in my mouth after receiving a small postcard 4 months after move-in notifying me that the monthly storage free was going to DOUBLE next month! Obviously they have the right to operate that way, but it is not customer friendly and is just bad business. I've had storage units with Extra Space at multiple locations on and off for 10+ years now. Extra Space has always increased rent by a noticeable amount, but in the past they occurred once or twice a year and were a fraction of the amount. Alternatively, I had a storage unit at Public Storage before relocating and received one small rate increase over a year or two.

Another great experience with this company. They are the absolute best movers I've ever dealt with…read more The guys are crazy strong, and so polite. They're efficient and carefully wrap everything. There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. They were are to schedule quick service on a weekday and were right on time.
