Our experience with TJR Construction has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. My parents trusted this company to perform roofing work on their home, and what should have been a straightforward professional experience has turned into months of unanswered calls, unfulfilled promises, and unfinished work.
There was a leak in the roof that was supposedly repaired, but the repair was not done properly. During the work, a worker fell through the gutters and broke them, ( I literally watched it happen with my own two eyes while talking to the contractor) and the damage was never properly addressed. The skylights also turned out to be a major issue. We were told they were damaged, so we had them replaced, but the finishing work was never completed. On top of that, there are still two additional skylights that need to be addressed.
We were also promised that the interior work would be completed, but that has gone nowhere. We have repeatedly tried to contact the company to get answers, have the outstanding work addressed, and find out what is going to happen next. Calls and emails go unanswered. We have been told multiple times that someone would call us back or provide answers, but those promises have not been followed through on.
We have also been promised documentation confirming work that was done, yet we are still waiting for it. We have made multiple attempts to get someone from the office to visit and help resolve these issues, but we have gotten nowhere.
The most frustrating part is that the company has already received payment, yet we are still left dealing with unresolved problems and unfinished work. It has been months of chasing people down just to get basic communication and accountability. Homeowners should not have to repeatedly call, email, and beg a contractor to follow through on work they were paid to perform.
The lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has been incredibly disappointing. We trusted this company with our home and expected quality workmanship and honest communication. Instead, we are still waiting for answers and resolution.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to carefully document everything, get all promises in writing, and make sure every part of the job is clearly accounted for before making final payment. We genuinely wish our experience had been different, but based on what we have experienced, we cannot recommend this company. I tell people specifically to stay away at this point if they need any roofing done.
We simply want the outstanding issues addressed and the commitments made to us fulfilled, but no body will respond back. My mother has called countless times and they never pick up or return the call.
One time she called off my father's phone ( this was the first time he called them off his number) they picked up heard her voice and hung up...
