I Can Do Services - Nothing like summer window cleaning on the Sound!

I Can Do Services

We hired I Can Do Services in August 2020 after seeing some recommendations on local Facebook…read morepages. David was very responsive to my request for a quote. He came right out, checked everything out and gave us an itemized price. We asked for quotes on power washing (soft washing), roof cleaning, window cleaning in and out, and gutter cleaning. I love when one company does it all! When he came to give us a quote, he said our roof didn't need cleaning. He also said he wasn't so sure our gutters would need a lot, but we had seen some signs that they might be clogged in a spot or two. He agreed to take a closer look, but said he'd prorate the amount if they didn't all need cleaning. So right from the start, he's earned my trust - when someone voluntarily tells you work is not needed, it goes a long way. It's very honest and that's the type of person/company that I like to give business to. He sent the estimate via email in a timely manner. We agreed on a date to complete the work via email, he sent email reminders, and he came on time as promised. He was onsite during the entire job and brought one additional person to assist. Powerwashing (which is actually properly called softwashing): came out great! They did that first before the windows. Gutter cleaning: I heard and saw him up there but at the end he said there wasn't much at all that needed cleaning, and didn't charge us anything. But he must have done something because we are no longer seeing the evidence of overflowing gutters that we previously saw. Window cleaning: we opted for the in and out service, which included our skylight and a foyer window that we haven't been able to reach in the 9 years we lived here! They removed the screens outside and replaced them. When they came inside they wore bootie shoe covers and masks. They did an amazing job, our house has never been so clean. I will definitely use them again in the future, and would recommend all of their services if you live in their service area!

This was the second time we have had David of I Can Do Services clean our windows inside and out…read more They provide top notch service - I could not be more pleased. Because they are so skilled, they get booked up far in advance so make your reservation now! They arrived in a timely fashion, and set to work. They were very gracious even though I had forgotten to clear the windowsills and put up the blinds. And the windows are spotless!! (They also remove and clean the screens, and clean the windowsills. Very thorough.)

It's a beautiful day in Connecticut and I'm in the mood for some outdoor dining, a lobster roll,…read morebut I don't wanna fight through the crowds of Captain Scott's Lobster Dock or drive an hour to the shore for any of those places out there. Only about a half-hour away from me is Jessica's Garden. Here's why my wife and I love coming here... Atmosphere/Appearance: Kind of out in the sticks is this gem, but many benefits of that are that there's private parking and plenty of it. Up the hill from where you park is where you go to order your food. You walk up to the counter to check out the menu or you can order from your phone. Hint, if you check-in on Yelp you may get a coupon to use online! Once you order you won't really be notified so just go to the other window around the corner from where you ordered to pick up your food. There's plenty of picnic table style seating and so much property to explore. There's woods back to check out and this place is just so peaceful. It's also... BYOB. That's what's most important. Lol, especially with a liquor store right up the street. Service: There really isn't any since you go order your own food then go pick it right back up. Food: It's a pretty simple menu here. The lobster roll is what you want. Yes, it can be pricy, but lobster just is. However, it's amazing. The lobster is soft, tender, succulent and of course, buttery. You do have to assemble the roll yourself since everything here is sold as a to-go order. It kinda makes sense. I've also had some wings and onion rings here. They're okay, nothing to write home about, but good enough for me to get each time I visit. Value: Moderate. Easily affordable, nothing crazy and the fact that it's B.Y.O.B. makes it WAY better! Lol. In conclusion, Jessica's Garden is my duck-off spot where I go if I wanna eat outdoors, am craving a lobster roll and I just wanna chill. Check this place out guys and continue to support these local businesses!
