Next was experience shower - i selected relax, it was mostly warm and very refreshing after that a 12 min dip into the hot tub. Following that was the ice fountain - you think putting ice on your body would be odd but coming out from the hot tub it felt amazing. We then headed to the steam room followed by a cold plunge (we only lasted a minute!!) and ended in the salt tepidarium. Staff was very helpful and at times would pop in with a wet cold towel (always at the perfect time) and while in the salt tepidarium surprised us with a healthy juice shot. Love an experience and this one was truly great! They provide a watch so you can keep track of your time and the stations! As well as sandals that can go into all the areas - even the pools! Like most LMT's she has a calm and pleasing demeanor that reassures and relaxes me. If you want great service at an affordable price (almost half of what that large National chain charges over in WeHa) in a safe and clean environment, this place is for you. Though I told her that I preferred deep pressure, I honestly did not feel anything on my back, even during my ashiatsu massage. I felt like she held back. I asked her to do trigger point treatment prior to my appointment. After my appointment, she told me that another therapist at the place did that technique. She was very sweet and down-to-earth though. During my first massage, my room was next to the door. In the middle of the massage, a bunch of chatty Cathy's barged in for some reason and would not shut up. The sounded like teenaged soccer players. This temporarily disrupted my massage. Another problem was that the sheets on the massage smelled and looked old, and outdated. I agree with another reviewer that it looked more like a doctor's office than a spa. I would maybe come back if I tried a different therapist. I have had better massages with Groupon deals which was ironic because many of the not-so-fantastic treatments advertise on Groupon.
