We pulled of the highway and asked our phone for tire stores in the area, Toce Bros popped up. We called and Karen assured us that Toce was one exit away and that the store would be open for another 1.5 hours. When we arrived, we placed the car (and ourselves) in Toce's capable hands. Stephan explained and showed us the nail in the side of the tire which was unpatchable. He said Toce could get a replacement by Tuesday. We all knew that wouldn't work. So while Stephan and Karen searched the garage for a used tire and found a good one to get us going, Janice called tire stores in the Pittsfield area, found one that could order the replacement and have it by Tuesday, and gave us the contact info. And we were on our way! We were so incredibly grateful to the three members of the Toce Team - Janice, Stephan and Karen - for taking care of us in both the business sense and emotionally.

So while we're getting credit for being the first to review, it ain't so. We're just apparently the first one to do so using the most familiar name. Got that? So, we're actually updating what we wrote a few years ago (2017, we believe). The guys who run this place are good guys. We've found them to be consistently honest, fair and up front in their dealings. For instance: we just had some tire issues on a 20-year old. car that needed some new tires. We talked it over nd agreed we shouldn't get expensive tourers, and that was Zeller's recommendation. They charged us fairly, did the job quickly, and were a pleasure to deal with in every way. We have friends who been going here for 20 years, and they echo the same praise: this is an honest business establishment that, while not without making mistakes at times, is nonetheless a good place to do business.
