For three months of running, what amounts to a letterbox. They charged 100 gbp, this is after the 30 gbp they took in the first instance. Forced me into another three months. And now I'm getting 28 gbp a month in administration fees. This is from a sales of goods at under 8 gbp a month .. wtf are they doing still in business .. read more

We've only been with them a few weeks, but we're very impressed with their services so far. When comparing companies some of them sounded quite large, they certainly don't sound like a call centre which is a huge plus for us so our customers don't catch on! It's only me and my husband and whilst the company is growing fast we're not big enough yet to justify employing our own receptionist and now we might never need to anyway!! read more

Accounting is generally viewed as boring but important - a confusing chore which most of us dread…read moredoing and usually hire someone expensive to do it for us. Well here is a company which, for a fixed fee, combines online accounting (easy documentation for you) and an accountant that is easily accessible by phone - at no extra cost (hurrah). The company specialises in contractors, freelancers or people with their own ltd company. I signed up recently and found the whole process surprisingly easy: the staff were really friendly and helpful, the process was quick and they showed me how to save money in tax. Excellent!

Their system has serious flaws - their account reconciliation with your bank statements is horrid horrid horrid and never works, so you need to pay extra for a book keeper to do it for you, and they don't always do it properly. The system itself constantly sends out erroneous messages about things it thinks you need to do but have already done which, if you're anything like me and loathe accounting, is panic inducing. The one thing I'd say in its favour - invoicing and expensing is nice. That's it. I'm now researching alternatives.

Finally I've found a telephone answering service I can trust. I have used a few for overflowing my calls to but none compare to CSnotepad. They sound so professional and the thing I like the most is they do not sound like a call centre! I also like the way you can email them at any point in the day and you get an instant reply. I have been using CSnotepad for 5 years now. I started using them when I was a one man band and needed a day off, now they support me and my 30 employees on a daily basis. Very well run operation. There is a call answering service near to me and usually I prefer to stay local, but these guys seemed a lot more professional. it's great for when I'm on site as they can put the call through to me, that way I can talk to customers on the move without them having my mobile number! I divert my calls to CS Notepad when I have appointments or fancy a day off. They're so flexible, if I don't have access to my emails I just have the messages sent to me via text instead. They set me up on the same day as my enquiry without any set up fees and I've been using them ever since. read more
