Kris looked at vehicle's problem; water stained drooping headliner, messed up with glue by last shop that did not repair, said not to be leaking?! Technician, said he'd popped out rear windshield, resealed then reinstalled, should be okay now. Then into office to pay for service, 'no charge' receptionist said. I at a loss for words. On top of all of that, they did a totally professional job, even though this is just my work vehicle, and to be honest is in rough shape. VERDICT/VALUE I was actually recommended SHC by another vendor in town who indicated SHC would be a better choice given their indoor facility and ability to complete exterior work of all type and SHC did not disappoint: good service, reasonable cost (for Victoria perhaps) and good output - recommended! === 2. SERVICE We were looking to spruce up our side and wanted to make sure someone with experience working on a car with PPF and chrome delete would not undo what was already in place. Enter Joe and his team thankfully and they worked their magic (see pic). For about $600, they not only gave the car the spa treatment inside and outside of the car, but also eliminated curb rash on two of our winter rims. We're looking forward to working with Joe and the team again - they were always patient and complete in describing solutions, answering our questions and look forward to perhaps wrapping a car with them soon!

Thereafter, I visited two different competitors based on recommendations for car damage not caused by me and it was terrible service, uncaring attitudes and easily identified poor workmanship that I had to ask be redone twice. Back to Advance . . . .Second visit: cracked windshield replacement and same bumper fix and repaint to my current car this year. Windshield done well - they called me in to show trim options to approve alternates. The bumper paint wasn't colour matched, but they admitted it and gave me a decent discount. Third visit: Yes, same bumper paint repair needed, but this time there was improved attention to detail, colour match and finish. Near perfect. All in all, Advance folks were super at customer service, and timely with the repairs. They spent time with my questions and seemed to care about the repair results. Vehicle rentals were quickly arranged, with a pickup by Budget in short turnaround. Service that met my expectations. I don't want to be back, but if I need, I will return to Advance.

The blades were rubbing against each other, and one finally snapped off while I was driving in the rain. I was shaken and upset. To my shock, the manager on duty, Kevin, responded dismissively and refused to help me, saying the shop was "too busy." Despite my distress, he essentially told me to "eff off." I then took my car to another shop -- also very busy -- and they managed to fix the wiper in under a minute. If a busy shop can handle a simple fix without drama, it's hard to justify staying with Belmont. After two decades of loyalty, I'll no longer use Belmont. My partner won't either. I'll be warning friends and family: if you want dependable service and respectful treatment, go somewhere else.
