So for starters there pay for donating could be alot better seeing that they get a pretty good penny for one of those bottles of plasma second thing and this really got me upset today I donated took me over an hour for some reason normally thirty minutes and I'm done but when I got done there was one person in front of me that was waiting to be disconnected well why they were disconnecting them I should have been next but no two more donors finished wouldn't you know they disconnected them first even with me arguing with this old lady who was doing them for god sakes she was next to me when I finished it took me thirty six minutes to be disconnected because of that I got to My job late and got suspended for a week thanks for for your hard work go retire already read more

Yes, CSL Plasma use to be a good company to come to and donate but, now they hire so many slick, mean, jealous handed workers till it's no longer pleasant or fun to do anymore and the fees are ridiculous to charge your customers to use their card or check balances...this is sad....My name is M Mackey and I say they can do better otherwise, I am going to stop donating all together because if you look at we are making this company billions of dollars only to get not even a good 200.00 a week. read more

Update: 02/09/2025 So I was chatting with I guess, customer support about my complaints, yesterday (02/08/2025) so get this. They told me that, they (the managers) tried to contact me and that I "REFUSED" to speak with them. Not that they called and I didn't answer. Not that they called, left a message and I didn't call back. They said I refused which is a damn lie. I have my phone on me 24/7 and I screen shot the whole conversation cause each time I click on "email me a copy of the conversation" the chat never loads. That part can be a glitch maybe, but I dunno. But to say I refuse to talk to them it's a damn lie and once again they are lying to help defend a fellow manager who likes to take pictures of male donors when they donate. Speaking of that. One person came forward, contacting me, saying it happened to him too, same location and guess what?! The exact same person! How very odd! The intake workers were fairly nice. However, the phlebotomists weren't very helpful or friendly. It would be great if they could pretend to like their job as well as the donors. It didn't hurt much at all when they inserted the needle. Their is a promotion now - first time donors get $100 for the first 5 donations. read more

Been donating for 2 years now, only had a couple issues with girls not sticking correctly & having to switch arms. My issue is with William in the nurses side. I had worked all day, on my feet, my BP was a little elevated & my ankles were swollen. He said he didn't like how swollen I was, & the color of my skin. Gave me a form for my dr to sign off on. Took it to my dr, got it signed, took it back to csl & William scanned it & said call back in a week to see if the dr will let you donate again. Total waste of my time & gas, when all that could be taken care of through emails. I am letting corporate know. read more

Over months of donating here I have witnessed multiple episodes of staff creating unhygienic situations exposing multiple donors to bloodborne pathogens. I have seen staff blatantly flirt and hit on donors during their donations. I have witnessed staff violate a donors consent after the donor informed them of medical information that should have precluded them from donating but the staff refused to take her for answer telling her that she had to allow them to continue the procedures upon bringing this to the attention of management I was ridiculed upon the basis of my disability. Staff refused to identify themselves in violation of their COLA and CLIA lab certifications (state and federal regulations). They even sent staff to my home in an attempt to threaten me for attempting to contact their corporate office read more

The staff did a good job getting me in and out said it was gonna be a three hour only waited about two. While giving plasma for some reason my blood wasn't returning to my body so I had to stop halfway through, I was scared that I wasn't gonna get paid and that I had just wasted all that time for nothing but nope they still paid me my $75 they told me I couldn't go back for two months so I could let my cells replenish but that I would still get my new donor fee of $75 when I went back. I'm glad I didn't waste my time today and I will definitely be back in two months. The crowd looks a little rough but what do you expect in the part of town it's in. read more

They're extremely slow there's medical supplies all over the floor. This will more than likely be my last time going to this location.

This place is a joke! I was told i had to wait 3 months after getting a new tattoo, I waited 6 months, they STILL put me on a permanent deferral even though I disclosed about the new tattoo. I didn't even donate yet, but they are now saying I lied about said tattoo, I didn't. read more

Waits are not that long. If you think they take to long go stand in line at the donation center at Broadway different company can't remember the name cause they always changing it. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff also very roomy. The staff here are very informative if you ask questions also some of the staff will guide you the process for a first time donor. For myself its been more then 17 years, that I had been a donor. First times process approximately about 3.5-4 hours from asking questions on the computer and small physical exam from an LVN also to donation. All the staff will guide you step by step where to go and the next step of process. It was a comfortable process for a first timer also open on Saturdays and late hour are a bonus for me that I have an 10 hr job. read more

This place is alright, workers are good people,m, I've had a few bad pricks but most of them are good. Line gets INCREDIBLY LONG, but it does keep moving and when it was my first time they let you cut ahead of everyone so it's not so bad. Most time I've spent in this place was an hour including line time. Just don't go in during their busy hours and expect to be in and out. Major issue is I really wish they kept their gloves clean, more then once I've noticed they are practically black/brown from God knows what. It's really gross. read more

An easy way to make a little extra cash. I live closer to a different location, but make the extra drive to go to this one. The wait can be long sometimes, but I almost never have any trouble here. The staff is mostly good. They treat the patients well. A good place to donate. It's definitely worth the extra drive to me to go to this location rather than deal with the shall we say unimpressive staff and treatment at the Fredericksburg location. read more

I must confess that I was a little nervous as this was my first time. Once I got passed little Miss Attitude at the Front Desk the rest was a Pretty Nice Experience. Took a little longer however I was pretty prepared for this as everyone has said the first time for the screening would take a little longer. I thought the staff was very professional and Vince the gentleman watching over me was funny and entertaining. I was glad for this because usually when I get in a lay down position I am out. He made it fun and amusing. I am going to donate again and hope I get in his section. All in all if you need a little to make ends meet this is a great way to do it. While 95% of the staff are super, marlin sucks. He is rude and can not do an iron prick correctly. Cathy and Tonya are both super professional and super nice. If you are over 150 pounds you can make $55 a week which is good, since they normally get you in and out fairly quickly. The only drawback is if one of the techs makes a mistake and puts something in the computer incorrectly. They have no way of fixing their employees mistakes. I got deferred, told to come back the next day. Okay, fine, my iron was low. The problem is that the idiot that put it into the computer put it in wrong. For some reason management can not or will not fix their mistakes but make you come back the next day. Seems to me that they could fix a miskey with todays computer technology instead of inconveniencing the donors. read more
