This is a great location even if the line can get a bit long sometimes! They dont have a reservation or appointment system so it's a real hit or miss depending on when you get there as its first come and first serve! Their technicians experience a lot of turnover so the skills of the staff vary from visit to visit but i never feel in danger there. The payouts as industry average and sometimes they run some promos here and there to entice donations - it really just depends on the month! read more

I went here for my "new donor" visit last week and I was blown away by their staff. Every single person I met was extremely helpful, kind, patient, and very accommodating to any needs or concerns I had. They caused me to be deferred for 60 days on my second new donor donation. When I come back in I find out they are not going to honor my last 3 new donor amounts to the tune of approximately 300 dollars. I would have put negative 5 stars if possible. read more

The system for getting donors back to the chairs is way to long and could most definitely be more efficient. There was no seating until you reached your donation chair. Stood for more than hour each time. read more

I interacted with a mixture of friendly and unfriendly staff but most of them were kind and seemed to know what they were doing. I got sick during my first donation and they were very helpful and made me feel as at ease as possible. Usually a long wait but I think they're as understaffed as most companies are these days. read more

I donated about 4 years ago and since times are tough decided to go back. Of course I had to resign up as a new client And I new it was going to take a long time just like before except this time the experience was better, I felt like there was a lot more organization and the nurses paid more attention to you. I did not have to wait as long and the process was relatively painless. Overall I had a pretty good experience the second time around. read more

I am a first time plasma donor. I went to the csl plasma in hillsboro off tv highway. The whole process took me 3 hrs as it was my first time donating. Over all, i feel they did a thorough job and the process was smooth. They ask you health questions, have you watch a video, do a physical, input your info into the computer and lastly have u begin donating. I appreciate that i can speed up the process next time with the app. To actually donate only took me 49 mins and i had to donate the largest amount. Process was painless and smooth. My 1st donation was a success and i will definitely return. Staff was friendly and there to help. read more

Hi I won't say my name but I think the plasma center in Southport land maine is discrimination people who is trying to give plasma I explain to them that my pulse my blood pressure does not work on their machine they would have to do it manually well they are in stated that we don't do manual only machines not everybody body works with the machines I think it's unfair that they won't do your pulse manual so you could donate blood or plasma in my opinion I think it's discrimination not fair how long does it take for you guys to do a manual pulse you guys are a RN Emmanuel pulse is better than a machine taking your pulse I was a CNA and med tech and I always did pulse manual on my patience because the machines do not read the right reading I think you guys need to read look at your regulations and maybe start doing a manual pulse on people who does not work on the machines that takes your pulse and it's not fair to the people that are traveling to try to donate plasma for people who needs it and you're turning us away because of the machine stating that our pause is too high and assess patients told you that the machine does not work on me and you have to do it manually and you turned me down to get plasma you guys are so sad to do this to us or to me you guys need to look into doing manual poles on people and it's not hard to do good luck I will not give you guys good reviews because you can't give me a manual Paul's it would take you 10 minutes not even maybe five minutes when you do manual pulse on me it reads in the 90s when you're doing the machine on me my pulse rate is 112 or 102 and I told you guys several times that the machine does not take my pulse right so why can you not take a manual pulse where you're a nurse you need to look into your facility and maybe have a meeting about taking manual pulses on people just remember all machines don't work on some people and it does not work on me when I go to my doctors office they have to do everything manually to me is discrimination what you guys are doing for me to donate plasma good luck you are somebody that could donate plasma to somebody that probably needs it a lot and you were very rude about it the nurse that did my manual Paul's The first time my pulse was in the 90s and it was fine and for you to tell me that you're going to talk to him because he cannot do manual pulse shame on you because he is an awesome nurse to do that because he cares about people who needs plasma and you the nurse that did my blood pressure and my pulse shame on you for not taking it manual where you are a RN SO SAD SHAM ON YOU one more thing I wish I new who was in charge of your plasma center read more

This CSL seems to be run very well! On my first donation they explained the process and made sure to let me know what the typical wait time is and it's been accurate ever since.
