I understand that the online estimate is a ballpark estimate. After emailing Shannon, I told her I would be there today for the real estimate. I pull up, ask for Shannon, and some guy comes out walks up to the car, asks about dings, I told him all I wanted was the paint job. He said "you want me to pull the bandage off?" I asked what, and he said $6/7k. I asked him what again, and he said "we need to sand the car" So $4/5k upgrade in price for sanding? I guess all y'all do is just wipe off the dirt and paint, eh? I asked a number of questions and settled on a price and work, clay-barred, ceramic coating . I went to pick it up the next day, it was not finished. I had to have it over the weekend and returned on Monday. they worked on the truck and I returned on Tuesday AM. David worked hard on this truck it has paint issues but at 8' it looks great. we went over the "details" and anything I thought was missed. everything was taken care of. I think the "delivery time" was off because of how much was needed to do, so I'm not complaining. David is the new owner and wants to make the customer happy.
