Hands down the absolute WORST company to use! If you have a property do not use this company. They NEVER empty these machines and the washers in my building are useless 87 percent of the time. When people pay rent and laundry facilities are an amenity they should be in operating condition. These machines are over priced and will not even take coins because they're jammed full. CSC Service Works own an air machine (for filling tires) at the UDF store at the corner of Delta Avenue and Linwood Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio, 45208. After previous times of the machine not working, I decided to try it again this morning (5/5/2024). The machine "ran", as in it made noise, but the nozzle failed to produce any air. I tried it on 4 different bicycle tires and got nothing. I logged onto the website to get a refund and received an error there as well: "Error fetching http headers". I tried 3 times and got nothing. It seems nothing at CSC ServiceWorks actually works. I realize $2.50 isn't going to break my bank, but I think that's how they make their money: provide machines that don't work and a refund / service system that doesn't work either. $2.50 multiplied by thousands of customers can make you a lot of money. If it says CSC ServiceWorks on the machine - go elsewhere. read more

Steals multiple 10 dollars off my card literally every time I use the new card machine without loading my card. Happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. Shouldn't have to pay 20 to 30 dollars to wash 2 loads of clothes! Crooks! There was a problem with my washer and he did all he could to fix it but wasn't able to so he had a replacement for me within the hour. Very quick and prompt to service. I was staying at Thousand Trails Soledad Canyon RV Resort and Campground on March 4, 2024 when I happened to encountered two machines not working. I reported the problems to the company and the company sent someone to repair the machines in a timely manner. The same week I happened to pay for a washing machine for another customer with my credit card, and then that person was too slow to press the start button. So the machine reset and would not start. It was a difficult process to get a refund, but the company did send a paper check to my home address that arrived four weeks later. My suggestion to the company is to make th refund process easier. This company raises its rates whenever they feel like it without any notification to residents! Our contract with our condo management company does not include them raising the rates whenever! We must be notified when there is an increase. When I called CSC they would not have anything to do with it but told me to call my management company. When I called the management company, they said to call CSC because they have a contract with them and the rates are not raised and they did not do it. Machines are constantly broken. The app is stuck in a state where you have to select cycle but the dryer doesn't register any cycle selection with the app. Customer support is closed on Sundays and you cannot process refunds. I loaded $10 twice onto my mobile CSC laundry app on May 9, 2022. Only $10 was applied. I have emailed my bank statement. The first customer service representative could locate my senior building as the company had the wrong zip code. She gave me the wrong email address to send my bank statement in to request a refund. The second customer service representative reprimanded me because CSC had the wrong zip code. She proceeded to raise her voice and continually says she misspoke She was rude and eventually told me to take it up with my bank. After several attempts to get her to listen I hung up. I used the CSC Service Works app at a hotel, and I used all of the money except for $6 and requested a refund. The refund has yet to be approved and sent to my card, and it's been almost six months! I've called several times, and their outsourced customer service gives you the run around, and everyone I talk to seems incompetent. I even emailed the corporate folks, and zero resolution. They never got back to me. They don't respond to customer service emails either. I filed a complaint with BBB, and the company lied and told them they issued me a refund. They never did! Then when I asked for proof, they said they would mail a check to the hotel. What good does it do to mail the hotel a check when I put the money on the card? This company seems scammy and runs a poorly managed business. I encourage you all with problems to file complaints with your local state attorney's office, consumer affairs, or BBB and report the app for fraud. There must be a better laundry service out there. I mean anyone, maybe even a monkey, just make a laundry business and I'm sure you'd win all the contracts. More than 50% of the laundry machines have been broken for than 5+ months (as HOA residents in our community has kindly emailed the board and property manager weekly to remind them of this issue) and the one time the repair people come out to do a job, they still leave a washing machine with a tub full of water! So, once they were threatened with legal action to cancel the contract, they decided to finally come to fix 95% of the machines, and claim it to be 'outdated technology.' So yeah yeah I understand this whole business model to blame technology, and they try to pitch a fancy flyer with a new 'smartphone' app. Seriously, the machine has ONE JOB - to wash clothes. The app is terrible. It constantly charges my account multiple times for one refill. There is no way to speak to anyone. It will not allow you to request a refund unless there is an amount of equal or greater value in the account. The washer ate the chip out of the card. The chip is now wedged in the washing machine, and my clothes are covered in soap with no way to do my laundry. I either have to call in and miss a day of work, or rinse my clothes in the sink, and walk to work in damp clothes, possibly in the slush if todays weather holds. I'm out the $25 on the card, the $5 for the card, and possibly a day of work if my boss decides I can't work in a wet uniform. (They refunded me the first time.) They have randomly taken unexplainable small amounts from my card (in addition to what they take from my balance for laundry), and the last time I called customer service the woman was completely rude and hung up on me. I don't have time to constantly call customer service over LAUNDRY. I am so sick of this terrible app and awful business. CSC ServiceWorks bought out Coinmach's commercial laundry machine rental service in the Washington, DC, area and ever since the response to service calls has been appalling. Their service level agreement for resolution of cases is 1-3 business days but that's optimistic. I opened a ticket with them on June 14, 2021, and as of June 19 they have made zero effort to fix what is a simple problem: an overloaded coin collection box. So an apartment building with 9 units currently has no on-site laundry. CSC is in violation of their contract agreement and are showing zero care toward customers who rely on their service. If a self-service laundromat were close to where I live I'd happily use that over CSC's services. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and to DC's Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs for further investigation into their less-than-reputable business practices. This company is absolutely horrible. If I could give them a zero star rating that would still be too high for them. My apartment complex used them, and had nothing but problems with the machines. So they recently switched. We residents had to use their app to pay for the machines. That is clearly their scam! When the machines were removed, I requested a refund of the remaining balance in my account in order to close the account. Anywhere else, this would be a simple process but not with this company. Refund did not process and I contacted the company by phone and chat about 15 times before finally getting a rep who had me send screenshots of the refund request and that I can't resubmit because it hasn't processed. But she isn't able to refund, she has to send to someone else. And that "someone else" has 2 weeks to reply to her. By that time, I'm at almost a month and still no refund. So I highly doubt I'll see any money back and fully expect they will continue to lie and say this isn't the usual case. But other online reviews tell similar stories. I will be cancelling all services and machines for this property I manage. I have been waiting 3 months for someone to register my card kiosk so that I can make service requests. I've needed cards loaded into the machine and have made multiple requests. I have put in multiple services requests for multiple reasons, and when I call to check the status of the service requests, I am told parts are needed and are placed on order. How would the technician know which parts are needed if they never arrived? This laundry room requires key access that the technician does not have and there were NO calls made for entry. WOW! HORRIBLE service!! At one of the properties we managed we have a set of commercial washer and dryers in the common area to be used by all residents. The washer and dryers are serviced by this company and for a long time we have not had to utilize their service as the machines were running just fine. Recently there was a problem with one of the machines, so we called this company to come and service. I put in a service request, and to have a technician call me. 2 weeks went by, no call back. I then called them again, they found my original request and had to escalate it to management. Then another 2 weeks past, no response. Finally I get an email from someone letting me know that they can send a technician out but with no details on when or how to setup a time. Effectively still no appointment scheduled. In addition, I emailed back to ask for a cost of the work which was a very minor thing, she would not tell me a time, instead "$80.00 for trip charge, and labor rate starts at $50.00 for 1st half hour and $15 for each additional 15 minutes". Holy cow! That's 4 times more expensive than our regular appliance repairs guy. And god only knows if they can even perform the work as they are so disorganized. Any attempt to contact them will mean being on hold for at least 8 minutes (and if you opt to communicate online via chat, in my experience, you are "in queue" for 15 minutes. The only response I get is they will deal with it "as soon as possible." If less than three weeks isn't possible, that says a lot about their attitude about customer service. This company randomly came in and installed their "system" one day in my apartment complex, out of the blue. Our property manager didn't even know anything about it and sent out a mass message apologizing for this new change. We used to have coin laundry, $1 for washers and $1.50 for machines. Now, when this POS even works, it's $1.94 for washers, $2 for dryers, and the machines are NEVER maintained; the washers overflow, the dryers never dry - I once reported one smoking fearing it was going to explode or catch clothes on fire - to the apartment complex, not the laundry company. It takes over a month for them to process refunds - I still haven't gotten my most recent one from last year, now that I think about it. When you do get your refund - it's a CHECK. They don't even send your money back to the card you are required to pay with. My bank even blocks payments and marks them as fraudulent. CSC ServiceWorks is running the laundry room in my apartment building and they are FINALLY - thank God - losing their contract with our landlord. Below is a copy of an email sent to CSC Service Works. BUYER BEWARE! To whom it may concern: My name is Richard Hoffman and I reside at Deer Creek Apts. in Plainsboro NJ. I've called your customer service telephone # about 8x's since December requesting a new laundry card and spent literally hours on hold with each time I was actually connected each agent has assured me that the request would be processed and I would receive the replacement card within 1 week and none of that has ever happened. I've now called a 9th time and was connected to a rep named Ivy who after explaining my situation offered me no resolution, information and merely disconnected the call after a 35 minute wait on hold. I am now forced to travel to a public laundromat a 15 mile round trip to just get my laundry done. I can't emphasize ow frustrating this simple task of getting a laundry card has been for me. Not to mention that I actually NEED to use this card in lieu of a valid credit card as is the case in the public laundromat. I see no benefit for me, the consumer or you the company to lose payment. I've reported this to my apt. management and they have had no luck getting this problem resolved. I've also emailed your company earlier in January with no response back for advice. My next step is Yelp and the BBB. I'm a 68 year old with a disability and your company has made doing laundry a nightmare. You can't even use your app on these machines.
