I am extremely disgusted with CSC ServiceWorks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. Our washers have been giving the code "conn" every time I swipe my card. They have been like this for the past 10 days and I keep calling CSC ServiceWorks and they kept lying to me telling me they will be fixed on Tuesday November 19. Today is Thursday November 21 and they are still broken!! This is very frustrating considering I have not been able to do laundry for the past 10 days. I tried calling them at 6:00 PM and they are supposed to be answering phone calls until 7:30PM. I called and they were not operating at 6:00 PM when they are open until 7:30 Pm! Crazy!! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. The workers are liars and they will not come out to fix an issue! Trying to convince my property manager to go with another company. Again, DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. read more

The very worst company I have ever dealt with and I am not exaggerting. They prompt you via phone message to make service requests online and then they never respond to the request. I had my management company make an appointment and they did not keep it. When I actually got a live person on the phone I began to complain- didn't yell and didn't curse- and she hung up on me. Never do business with this company. read more

Have lived in my complex for a little over 3 months now. Every week the machines have issues. They won't read cards don't work, and screens are damaged and unreadable. The company put a sign on how to report online when a machine goes down. They will respond and say when they are there and when it's fixed. They Lie!!! I have been home when they claim they fix them and I have never seen anyone there and machines are always in the same condition as it was when I reported. This company does not know how to hold employees or themselves accountable. Possibly does not require any knowledge or experience to be hired to work here. Integrity goes a long way and this company would rather be shady than remember a lot of families with children and older parents rely on their equipment to work. read more

hahahahahahahahahahaha. Don't use this company. Both of the machines to add money to my washing machine card broke while I had clothes in the washer. Had to take all of my clothes out and hang-dry them around my tiny studio apartment. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST, STEER CLEAR! Just looking at their overall rating and other reviews. One star is too many. Repeatedly called (spent hours on hold for a REP), emailed, Tweeted them to get a replacement card, because mine stopped working. Over six months later and these fools still have not replaced it. Empty/half hearted apologies is what they offered. STILL NO CARD! Be assured, Our Condo WILL NOT BE RENEWING THEIR CONTRACT! read more

Seriously, find another laundry company. These guys don't give a crap about making sure their machines work. They get the contracts and they would rather send checks for refunds ALL THE TIME rather than making sure the machines function properly. You would be better off getting a basin, washboard and a piece of rope to dry your clothes than using their machines. What a freaking nightmare. If you want someone to take advantage of people without in unit laundry, this is the company for you. read more

0 stars. Incompetent maintenance team. Machine had the same disrepair FIVE times in two weeks. Machine did not start wash cycle, but instead ran water over clothes (on a 23 minutes cycle) for an HOUR, did not spin, and left clothes soaking wet. Water leaking out of machine onto floor. After clothes were removed, barrel was still flooded with 2 inches of water, and electronic display showed "E FL." The technician on the second repair reported 'no error found.' Second disrepair took 3 days to fix; this left the soap drawer moldy, which the tech did not bother to clean. The technician on the 4th repair left a note saying 'fixed' as of 5/21. Today 5/22, the same error occurred. At least 4 different tenants have experienced this, and I have experienced it twice. Machine 299-BLT. Very poor customer service. Automated phones only; must file reports online. No place to submit pictures. Our building management has its hands tied; the machine is broken again, and all we can do is wait another 3 days for them to come fix the machine. Will be using the laundromat from now on. read more

UPDATE: Got in touch as requested, and exchanged a couple of emails back in May but nothing since. Were supposed to fix the issue and get back to me, but not a word. I recently emailed them again to follow up but no one even bothered writing back! Their techs are just as awful as their customer service! That would be a ZERO-star rating for me if they allowed it. read more

This company should have a tech &/or a porter come to clean out these washers & dryers once a week. They're DISGUSTING. My clothes were ruined because a resident must've put a tube of lipstick in the dryer. I should've filed a claim. Or hammer out an agreement with the apartment manager/company that unless they actually clean the machines on a regular basis (using a checklist - like vacuuming out lint!) ... that service calls will be expensive... or something. Just.Do.Something! The cards are glitchy & always crack too easily. Most of us work M-F & can't get to to apartment manager's office to load the card before they close. There should be a more "user friendly" way to load these cards. An app. Or put the card machine in the actual laundromat instead of apartment manager's office. read more

EDIT: The machine is finally fixed after almost three weeks in total that nobody in our 70-unit building could do laundry. I miss quarters. EDIT: They reply to the review as if they care, but it's been over a week with myself and other building residents requesting service and the machine is still down. This company is the worst -- their idiotic devices break all the time, I either can't do my laundry because the readers aren't working, or I can't add money to my card. Twice I was left with soap on my clothes when the readers weren't working to add money, and today I was just left with wet clothes. Service will happen some time next week -- THANKS GUYS! This company is a complete joke. I'd say half of our washer/dryers are not functioning in the 180 unit apartment complex I work for. I've reached out countless times through email, phone call, left voice messages and still no one has came to address the issues with their appliances. My property company just signed another contract with them, I'm really not sure why because this has been a constant issue since I started in beginning of 2021. RUN from this business. Our nyc coop has had 4 of 6 machines broken since Dec 2022 and as of July 2023 they remain unrepaired. Shameful.

CSC's complete lack of customer services is putting our co-op at risk of a $10,000 fine. Our small co-op had a gas line inspection in accordance with Local Law 152 over 7 months ago. The only outstanding item from our inspection is the need for CSC's flexible gas line to our dryer to be converted to a hard line. Our board has contacted CSC about this numerous times. The company has confirmed they are responsible for correcting this, but we have yet to be able to make contact with the appropriate person who will perform this work. We now have only 2 months remaining before becoming liable for a $10K fine if this is not corrected. Our building manager has in fact confirmed that it will be CSC, not our co-op, who will be responsible for this fine since it is their installation that does not meet code, but even knowing this CSC is not working with us to fix the problem. I am posting here only because I see a CSC employee responding to reviews here. Perhaps we will have better luck contacting an actual person who can help us resolve this here? read more

I have been trying to get someone to return calls and emails for over two weeks for one of my four laundry rooms at a property I manage. A followup based on the response from my initial review. I've never been able to contact a person in less than 10 minutes. This involves multiple tries over the past year. Either their record-keeping system is producing faulty reports, or they are simply not being honest on Yelp -- "less than a minute" is not credible, since it takes over 30 seconds just to get to the key prompt. I challenge anyone to post a video of them getting to a human in less than a minute. Interesting that the person who replied did not address any of the other issues, such as their incomplete database, which makes it impossible to report broken devices electronically, or the incredibly long waits to get a machine serviced once a request is actually put in. Yelp has all one-star reviews (plus one very negative 2-star review) for this company. And they have a one-star average with the BBB, as well as 141 complaints in the past year. A principle owner of this company is a Canadian teacher's fund, and I noticed that last year there were reports that CSC was looking for a buyer. I wonder if the pension managers for those teachers have come to realize that this company's management is completely inept -- something their customers realized years ago. read more

Awful. Their phone support spins your wheels with indirect and unhelpful answers (IF you can even get a human on the phone). There's no escalation to management to clear up major areas of uncertainty. Their ticketing system offers no confirmation nor follow-up. read more

Honestly not shocked to see 1 star total for this company. They left a note in our building saying they would update the washing machines to take debit cards on 12/15/20 and the day came and went, no update, no NEW note saying they wont make it, nothing. The reload machines in the area are ALWAYS broken, they are either completely turned off, missing a card reader, or missing the money feeder. Its the biggest inconvenience ever. Shame on my apartment complex for even working with these fools. Unfortunately the apartment complex are also assholes, I called them to complain about this and they then tell me its not their problem to call CSC since its their machines. Anyways I called CSC and the young lady who answered was not in a good mood to help me out, seems she takes a lot of calls similar to mine and hates her job. These people should fire whoever is in charge of operations and restructure all of their managers, nobody listens to the customer and it seems that nobody cares. On top of not updating the washers and dryers to make our lives a bit easier.. they put a note up first week of January saying that they would increase the price from $2 - $2.05. While that doesn't seem like a lot, it adds up. So you want to update the machines and charge us for it? But then you don't even update them... but you announce that the price will go up and instantly increase it without keeping your word on the machines? Horrible. The absolute worst. Those people working in the offices not visiting the sites and making commands from the top down, suck one read more

This company runs the machines in my apartment complex. I have repeatedly had my clothes get stuck in the washers, losing not only the money for that load, but also an entirely new load as it would be hours/days before my clothes would be freed. We were promised cards with our lost credit multiple times. No cards ever came. We are now approaching 30 dollars lost due to this company's ineptitude. Escalating the call does nothing. I am a Resident Adviser that lives in a dorm with 600 other residents. We have 16 dryers and 16 washers. The first couple of weeks of school the majority of our dryers, 14 total, would not work. All of my residents were complaining about not being able to dry anything. Some people started air-drying their clothes in their dorm rooms. People were tossing each other's clothes on the laundry room floor just to get the 2 dryers that were working. Those who had access to a car were taking their clothes elsewhere to clean. Many people here are college students and don't have a car on campus. They were stuck with the laundry room that barely functioned and had to hope and pray no one else took the dryers that worked. I need to clarify that I have been a Resident Adviser for 2 years going on 3 years. My freshman (not an RA that year), sophomore, and junior year I was in a regular dorm on campus. It was not considered the nicest, in fact, many people called it Krusty Kreischer because it was the oldest building on campus. However, when there was an issue, it was addressed within 3 days. The building I live in senior year is the nicest dorm on campus. The two nicest dorms on campus are built by a company called Capstone. Since another party built the building, the procedures are different. Instead of noting issues directly with the University's maintenance staff, Capstone buildings had work orders go to 3rd party companies. Issues with the laundry room or elevator were not dealt with by the University. This is where CSC Serviceworks comes in. Resident Advisers filled out multiple forms complaining about the dryers. I had to call CSC Serviceworks multiple times over the course of 1 month just for the machines to get fixed. Eventually, they came, but 600 residents had to share 2 working dryers for an entire month. I'm not angry at the call center people. They are probably yelled at all day because CSC doesn't respond to complaints. The person I talked to said that they put my dorm on a priority list because of the number of dryers with issues. This was done on the first call. I was told that someone from CSC would come and repair the machines within a week. A week passed and I was checking on my residents and the problem still persisted. I called again. I was told that CSC was backed up at the moment and was having issues with Covid. Fair enough, it would take a little longer to get the dryers fixed. I was given an estimate of two weeks before the machines would be repaired. Two weeks passed and the dryers were not fixed. I call again. I was not angry, but disappointed. I told the CSC call service that I was disappointed in the company. I myself, my fellow Resident Advisers, and residents were living in a building of 600 people with 2 dryers. Finally, someone came within a week of the 3rd call, but it took so long that I wasn't even happy, or content. I just felt disappointed like a parent seeing a child get an F on a report card because it was a month-long problem. CSC Service works is the only company I would say deserves a Karen yelling and shouting at them. read more

CSC has laundry services in my apartment complex. I use the word services lightly. I have yet been able to complete my laundry because either their machines malfunction or their app does. Each time (4 different laundry days) I end up loading wet clothes into my car and finishing at a local laundry mat. Each time I have placed services requests on the malfunctioning machines. The dryers in my building still have nit been fixed and the mach8nes in the other 2 buildings have been malfunctioning for weeks now. Their app is horrible, their service on the machines is even worse. If you are a business looking to use them...don't....you will only frustrate your end users and make them question your business decisions. If you are a tenant in a building that uses their services, save yourself the frustration and just do your laundry at a local laundry mat. It's cheaper and it's a guarantee that you will be provided a service. Unlike CSC. read more

The washers and dryers this company provide are probably the cheapest ones they can buy and they charge you a ridiculous amount to do laundry. There is no timer on the machine, no other settings than the 4 generic settings. They are terrible machines. I've been using them for 2 years at my apartment complex and more often than I would hope, a machine I put my money into doesn't work. I submit a service request and "they send someone out" I don't really know if they do because 1. they say the machine is always working as it should and 2. the same thing continues to happen. They don't offer a refund for the broken machine and the lost money, I have to submit a different form for that. I cannot wait to move to a new place and hopefully I do not have to deal with this company's machines. read more

The Yelp rating for CSC, as well as their BBB rating of C-, speaks for itself already. But when so many people are disappointed and angry about a business like CSC, or feel powerless about how to effect change against a business that is so clearly failing, we feel no other option is available but to leave reviews so that other people might avoid making the same mistake of choosing CSC as their laundry provider. The HOA of our condo complex has a lease agreement with CSC for the laundry machines in three buildings. About half of the machines are almost always out of order. There are scannable barcodes on each machine so that users can report problems using a phone app. CSC sends automated email responses to these repair requests. But all of these responses which say the machine has been fixed, are absolutely lying. Nobody has visited the property to do a repair, and yet a "Certified Technician" has reported that the issue is resolved and fixed. The most frustrating part of this situation, is when the machine has stopped working because CSC needs to collect the coins. Several of our machines are out of order for this reason. Which means CSC can't be bothered to come and get their own money, and as a result, most of us can't do laundry where we live. If you are trying to make a decision about which laundry provided to use, I strongly advise you to avoid CSC. They may have been in business for 70+ years, but clearly they haven't been successful at learning how to run a business with honesty or integrity, because we are being lied to repeatedly. Next steps are to research whether any legal action can be taken by the HOA to terminate our lease with CSC due to their breach of the terms. read more

Absolutely the WORST company to have to deal with. % years of complaints about the machines at our location and it never gets fixed. That might be because we have the equivalent of homeowner machines that have had coin boxes attached to them and they get used like commercial ones. And they probably wonder why the machines here are constantly not working. It will cost me twice as much to go to a local landromat to do my laundry - not to mention the PIA factor - but in the long run it will save me money from having to wash twice cause the machine didnt fill with water, or just never even started, or leaked out all the water, never put water in or shredded my laundry. Why the management for my property continues to allow this is beyond me. read more

I would give 0 stars. Probably the worst laundry company I have ever experienced. One of our machines has been broken for over 6 months even after calling in for a broken machine. A CSC Service rep would claim that a technician went and fix a machine, when obviously nothing happened. Not sure if their "technicians" are slacking or orders are sent out. The other 5 machines never work and the tech will come and leave without notification and they still do not work. When we call our rep his phone says he is on vacation for the past 6 months and don't even try to call corporate office. The customer service is horrible. I have a property with 0 working washing machines and can not do anything about it. In any case, absolutely horrible customer service with extremely poor follow-up. And PLEASE do not respond with contact you guys because we all know this will go no where. read more
