I've taken classes with Kip, Kelly S., Kelly C., Anjali, Sonia, Judy, Matt, and Lisa and even though their styles are all COMPLETELY different, I loved every class in a different way. Your first class is free so you can try it out without having to pay. Most of the classes are 90 minutes but some are only an hour if you're looking for something shorter. Single classes are $18 each but if you purchase packages online, you save 5%. In addition, they also offer student/senior deals on TOP of that so it truly pays to book online! My 6-class package came out to $68. My only complaint is that on hot days, it gets HOT in there. I've done hot yoga before, but this is a little different: it's just stuffy, humid, and uncomfortable. I'm not sure if they don't have A/C or just choose not to use it but if you're planning on going in the summer, dress lightly and bring a headband and towel. The Ramsey location has an overhead fan. They also have a brand new GORGEOUS location in Chestnut Ridge, although the air situation is comparable (and no overhead fan). It's also next door to a coffee shop and the walls are VERY thin, however, the coffee is great!

The latter is evident in not only the way they guide you, but the way they can move their bodies. It's so inspirational. I'm sure the rest of the teachers are no different. Recently they've decided to add a Pilates class, taught by the fabulous Ms. Anjali and I couldn't be happier! While this is a yoga studio, I think it was such a phenomenal idea to introduce Pilates into the weekly schedule. The studio space is massive compared to others in the area and extremely clean. As soon as you walk in you feel welcomed by all. The entire vibe of the studio is incredibly inviting and not something I have ever experienced before in other studios in Bergen county. It feels like a true community of great people with no judgment. Rachel the owner is wonderful. She is so sweet and extremely experienced in her practice and makes a point to learn who all her students are. Giving relaxing, yet unique and strong classes. I try my best to catch her classes when I can. Erica is also incredible. Her classes are vibrant and fun, while providing a true yoga experience with dharma, guided breath work and movement at your pace. She makes sure to say hello and chat with all her current and new students before every class. I am literally mind blown every time with how personable everyone is. I have also taken Danielle and Josh and both are equally amazing as well. I have never been able to find a studio with multiple instructors I love and I knew when I did at Flow I found my yoga home. This yoga studio is an absolute gem and has given me such an amazing experience over the past few months I am going to classes upwards of three times a week, which I have never done in the 10 years I've practiced. They offer many classes throughout the week, mainly heated vinyasa. I've never taken a class with an instructor I didn't like. All staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The studio is always very clean and well kept. Super zen vibe the moment you walk in. I prefer this studio to the Mahwah location, but they're both very inviting. Highly recommend this studio for challenging flows and great mind-body connection. I appreciate how the classes here aren't "workout" focused as a lot of other studios are. You definitely sweat, but the main intention of the class is to move with your breath and do actual yoga!

So I was traveling in January and I heard a lot about this place online…read more A friend of mine invited me to join him and I met up with Joe, one of the trainers there. This place is AMAZING! The environment is great for newbies, and for folks like me that have not worked out in a while. Let's just say, the best tip I got going into it was this: "Pace yourself." So the workout was a circuit, and it was a full body workout. 3 sets, with 3-4 workout per set done as a circuit. Some new folks kill themselves by using too much weight on the first set and cannot keep up at the end. By the 2nd set I was starting to slow down: I was not conditioned at all but at least I paced myself. But Joe was extremely encouraging and helped with fixing my form for the different workouts I wasn't used to. The facility is tucked in the business complex so you have to drive deep into it. The place is clean, the music is awesome, the bathroom is clean, there's towels (for sweat, not for showering), and the equipment all work and in very good condition and are clean! I highly recommend this place because of the trainers who are awesome, and because the environment is very supportive. Viz. one woman was there in her 40s and she was trying her best, some of the girls cheered her on, and Joe was encouraging her and adjusting her workouts based on her fitness level. Definitely check them out since this place gives results! I don't know if they have drop-in rates to do the classes whilst traveling but just ask them! Note: They also do your measurements to see your progress!

Wow! I thought I was in good shape and then I started working out with Gina. After just 4 weeks I…read moream feeling way better. I think it's not just the workout regime but also her nutritional coaching that have made such a big difference. I already knocked 20 seconds of of my 5k time and my ankle and back pain have disappeared. Try the Jacob's Ladder machine, crazy tough! Great for runners and hikers. Gina will challenge you but is very safety conscious as well (and pretty funny too!) Gina is also a big animal lover and when I told her about my special needs kitty she offered to do Reiki on him. I was skeptical but thought why not? Incredibly after just three sessions he is doing much better. He just seems happier and more energetic. Also a great location in the heart of downtown Ridgewood!

Within 5 months of working with Gil, I reached my goal weight and dropped 45 lbs! On top of that, strength grew tremendously. Went from getting exhausted at the thought of a pull up to doing 10 pull ups in a row with ease. Muscle definition and size has grown quite a bit and clothes fit much better now.
