Golden State had availability the weekend that we wanted to go, so we set up an appointment pretty easily through Yelp. Met with Brandon and overall it was a great experience with him. We also really appreciate his expertise and advice. Great value for the service and final product as well. Hands down the best shop in the bay!

Juan is a class act! I contacted his business to see if detailing could restore my son's car…read more Juan was super responsive and came to our house promptly at 8am the next day to inspect the car. He used an instrument to measure the clear coat on the hood and roof and confirmed that it was missing and would require repainting. Although I was unable to use his services for detailing the car right now, I appreciate how responsive he was to my messages and in coming to my place. He was very helpful in advising me how to protect the car and in arranging to get me a quote from a body shop to have sections of the car repainted. Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. Excellent and lasting results, great people, convenient location, and timely scheduling. We'll see them again soon!

I had never had my car detailed before because it never seemed like a necessity, but was prepping for family to visit and it hit me that the car looked pretty beat up inside and out. Not gonna lie - it felt expensive - but they did an amazing job. They were up front and explained exactly what they were going to do. They did need to see the car before confirming a final quote. They did the full internal and external job and went through every nook and cranny until it shined. I dropped the car off at 9am and picked up a little after 5pm. While I was tempted by the convenience of mobile detailers, i ultimately chose the fixed location and don't regret it.

This was my first time using Berto's Detailing, and I understand why they have such strong ratings…read more I brought in our white car after it had been covered in dried, sticky berries from a tree. The residue was extremely difficult to remove, and the car had not been fully detailed in about two years. For a quoted price of $250, Berto's team removed all the hardened berry buildup from the roof and completed a full interior and exterior detail. The results were excellent and well worth the price. During my inspection, which Berto personally asked to observe to ensure I was satisfied, I noticed a section of white paint (approximately 2 x 3 cm) on the roof had been accidentally lifted during the berry removal, exposing the black layer underneath. It was clear they had tried to paint over it with white paint to make it less noticeable, but it was at risk for further peeling and a drop of the white paint had dripped onto the surrounding black trim. Berto immediately asked how he could make it right. He handled it professionally. He made the detailing complimentary, took the car to his auto body shop, matched the paint using the VIN, and fully repainted the affected top panel. The repair took two days and was generously scheduled around our work commute. He also offered to pay for a rental car, though we did not need one. Given the condition of the car and how long the berries had been left on, I recognize the job was unusually challenging. What stands out is that Berto took full responsibility and corrected the issue completely. I would return and recommend his team without hesitation.

You can tell immediately how much he values his team. He treats his staff like family, and it shows in their work. Everyone there genuinely enjoys what they do, and they really do live up to the "OCD" name when it comes to attention to detail. I learned the hard way that not all highly rated Yelp shops deliver real quality. After going to another popular place, a friend pointed out several issues in the work that I had completely missed. Never again! I would much rather pay for top-tier service and have peace of mind than worry about fixing problems later. Most recently, I had a front PPF and tint done on my Tesla, and the results were flawless. OCD Detailing is one of the few places capable of tinting the entire Tesla roof using a single piece, with no seams, and it looks incredible. They were also kind enough to help install hub caps I purchased separately and recommended a great source for blacked-out emblems. My car turned out beautiful. The only downside is that I live in San Francisco, so the drive is a bit out of the way, but it was absolutely worth it. I recommend OCD Detailing to all my friends whenever they're looking for high-quality PPF or tinting. If you care about your car, this is where you take it.
