Gloria does wonderful updos and color as well as lash extenions. Stay clear of Lauren however. She has an absolute piss poor attitude and is known to cuss people out when she is in an unfavorable mood. She's a total witch. I've never seen anyone treat staff members and customers the way she does. Spare yourself the aggravation and avoid her!

I went to Marquisia Norton, she is the manager of the connected HAIR 2 U shop (its next door)…read more Marquisia Norton contacted me not too long ago insisting she was the one for me to come to (I was already scheduled with someone to get my hair)..Marquisia Norton said she was all about customer service, making sure we are "fully taken care of"..HAHA!....I was getting CORNROWS (about 30 of them). I should have known Marquisia Norton was an independent hair dresser about her money only and nothing else when she charged me $140 for 30 straight back cornrows (but I had already cancelled my other appointment because again she insisted she was the better choice). If mama never told me anything about following my gut instinct boy oh boy did my hard head make a soft ass.. (BEFORE I BEGIN ANY PERSON WHO HAS HAD BRAIDS BEFORE KNOWS 30 CORNROWS IS NOTHING MORE THAN 2 HOURS)(IF THAT) Marquisia Norton scheduled me for 9a, but called the morning of rescheduling for 11a "it was her clients fault" Marquisia Norton is terrible with accepting responsibility (her boss got on her head during my experience about her organization skills with something about the shop, she proceeded to talk about how the boss needs to relax and so forth...failing to realize the reason she was being scolded about using other peoples chairs is because she needed to be organized with her clients in general..I digress.... I showed up at 10:47a to make sure the the hairdresser had plenty of time to get me in...but she was not even halfway done with the person in her chair. After sitting WAITING for 55 minutes, Marquisia Norton at last sat me in the chair. It was not until around 3p that I had about 5-7 braids done..... She walked away and began working on another client that she irresponsibly scheduled. She had been running around doing and talking to everyone eating cupcakes and so forth, yet it had been four hours and I was not even a mile close to being done. I had to plead that she get off the other persons head because I had been in there all day and was ready to get things ROLLING. 7p rolled around and she finally was done. Marquisia Norton did not offer a discount for me being in the shop literally ALL day, my hair lasted for a week and six days, and oh yeah IF SHE TELLS YOU THAT SHE DOES GUARANTEE MONEY BACK IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED, RUN THE OTHER WAY WITH YOUR MONEY. Jamie Gallant is the owner who I have sent messages to, called a good three times, as well as sent pictures to (as I was getting my hair done she too raved about how she is all about customer service)..I hope soon she can return my call of unsatisfactory...but if not my Yelp! review can for sure be a warning to the next person who contemplating spending money here...

Quiet convenient location with loads of parking outside. Be Careful: Police Speed Trap directly across from this strip mall, preying on the customers looking for the address. I was slowing to make the turn, following my GPS and the police came across from the adjacent strip mall and cited me. Not related to my services, but be careful of the speed trap. Somewhere a donut is being spared while I'm being delayed from spending my hard earned dollars in the community.

Most hair stylists will automatically go to their clippers when cutting a man's hair, I've noticed, but Mary's technique w a razor seems to be a total game changer. Let me tell you she did not disappoint. My hair and make up was flawless for both, and considered I got married in the dead of summer in *Texas*, that is saying a lot. Sweating outside for photos did not budge my hair or makeup in the slightest. I have coarse, frizzy, curly hair and was nervous to have my hair done but it was beautifully smooth the entire time for both. I had no idea my hair could look like that! I felt like a model. I also have very oily skin so to finish the day still matte and soft is a miracle. For my make up look, while I do love make up and getting done up, I wanted something that leaned more toward natural (as much as bridal makeup can look natural lol), and she delivered. My skin looked even and glowing and my eyes popped, but it was all done in a way that was natural and still looked like me. I thought it would take forever to take off because how else could my skin look that could without a thick layer of foundation? But no, it was not caked on at all. The airbrush was applied beautifully light and even and really looked like it was my skin. Lastly, Katie was very sweet and helpful throughout the whole process, flexible when bridals had to be rescheduled due to me getting sick, and just overall so easy to work with. She was also very punctual. I was nervous about getting ready on time for my early afternoon wedding, and she was knocking on the hotel door before I had even fully woken up! I am so glad I worked with Aqua Blue and will definitely be looking for excuses to get a formal updo again so I can have her do my hair again.

I'm sure everyone can tell by their…read moreinformation on here but somehow I missed that and walked in with my two kids without calling ahead ‍ However, the staff was really nice and tried to find some availability for same day hair cuts for my boys. Once we were able to be seen later in the day, they took their time to make sure the cuts looked good and they were really kind and patient with my two young kids. Even though we only got haircuts, they offer many other services too, like manicures and pedicure, and they style hair as well. My husband and boys will be returning here for their regular haircuts and to try their other services in the future.
