I hired this pool company based off of several positive reviews online and after the first visit, my pool started to turn green. I called them right away and instead of coming out immediately to remedy the issue they waited four days due to being understaffed. I would think as a BRAND NEW client with a very urgent matter, that they would prioritize my needs- but they didn't. I called and NO ONE was available to address my issue. I was told by the receptionist that she would send my complaint over and someone will be emailing me back, with no known time frame. Nice way to hide behind emails and replies on yelp. Pick up the phone if you're a real authentic business person. There is no leak we had 2 companies come detect with scuba gear and all. Looking forward to having this remedied. We've been loyal customers here for 6 years. About a year ago, something changed with the service provided and we were as accommodating as we could be while they worked through new ownership and staff changes but we just can't recommend this business any longer. The customer service reps have been rude when trying to share concerns about algae in the pool and techs only staying to clean for 5 minutes. They've failed to put chemicals in the pool on several occasions, which has caused the pool to turn green! They constantly try to sell things saying that the issues are due to a dirty filter, which they supposedly recently replaced, a bad salt cell, that they just replaced but said wasn't working etc etc. We've had the same leaf in the pool for 2 weeks and saw that the tech didn't vacuum last week (ring camera) even though he reported he did. I really believe the techs they have now just take pics of the pool and claim to service it but do nothing. Terrible service and at this point I believe it is fraudulent due to charging when they actually do nothing. read more

I had to give at least one star but they have been the worst service I've ever received from a pool service, so far. Last week they left the filter casing barely screwed on (that was on Wednesday). It was leaking for days before I even noticed. I have called every day since then with no return call. They now change their day of service and show up whenever they feel like it and give lame excuses why they didn't show. Today they tried to say they were here but the pool is as it was this morning.Still needs service! I have 3 cameras around the house! One aimed directly at the pool. No one came. , Responsiveness Never shows at the same time for any weekly maintenance. Some days its 9 am other 4pm and i cant leave my dogs inside for 10 hours a days, We have dogs and simple asked if they could knock on the door before entering the yard. Between weekly visits i personally vaccum, clean the filter on top of the service. They claimed they showed up, even though not one of my 4 outdoor security cameras or doorbell camera showed activity, then tried to charge me an additional $40 since my dog was outside. The pool was green right after visits. When I sent emails of the pool being green the day of the service, they sent me an email saying that I should look for other service. I never asked to stop service, I simply asked if they could remedy the green pool. I asked to speak to someone over the phone and they refused to speak in person. Pictures added are less then 24 hours after service. Apparently cleaning a pool well and brushing the walls of green pool is not in the job description. A simple brush would of gotten rid of the algae, and instead of fixing it they drop the service. Definitely no customer loyalty. I just left my local pool store and all of my levels are off in my pool not even 2 days after their last service appointment. My chlorine is too low at 1ppm my phosphates are through the roof. My PH is really low. Like swimming in acid. My daughter was complaining of her eyes hurting now I know why. I am glad my children are safer without this company. Read the bad reviews. Honestly 0 starts would be more accurate, they come to my house for 4 mins (I have it on camera) one at my drive way to see when they show up and one looking at the pool. Last week the tech who's name is Fred. "Vacuumed" the pool, 30 mins after he left went out to check the pool cuz the last few times I was getting suspicious because it looked like they didn't do anything there was still allllll kinds of debris in the bottom of the pool leaves dirt etc, no tiles brushed at all, and dead frogs floating on the surface of the pool still. Look back on the camera he was here for 8 mins in total. Move on to this week Fred shows up again. 10:08 I watch him on the camera as he just dumps chemicals in the pool no measuring just dumping a guesstimate of how much chlorine should go in there. And the leaves at 10:15, I run outside to flag him down in the driveway and ask him point blank "buddy you have been here for 7 mins what exactly did you do? Did you even vacuum the pool? Did you brush the tiles or do anything?" He looks me dead in the face "uhhhhhhhh no I didn't" WHAT AM I PAYING YOU FOR ?? so he pulls back up the drive way and pulls out his vacuum AGAIN. To actually try and do the job he is supposed to do before he tried to leave. Again vacuum for 3 mins and brushed the tiles of the pool. Nothing more. I get emailed a list of services that were done for each visit and it seems to me that nothing is being down except guess work on the chemicals getting added to the pool. We have tried to call the office 5 times already and they keep "passing along the message" but still no call back from anyone and when we email, all we get is a "sorry" and " we'll send these pictures to your tech so he knows what to focus on next time" so you're gonna send him pictures so he knows to focus on doing the one job he's hired for? Lol They said they would refund me and cancel my services, they send me an email finally of cancelation of services and 30 seconds later they send me an invoice again for 130$ after being told they would refund me. SCAM. No communication, no one knows what's going on when you call and the techs don't seem to know what they are doing when they come the house seems like they are confused about their job description. Like actually cleaning the pool Below I have attached pictures or the emails I have received from them after my last cleaning showing discounted service but also an invoice all in the same day. As well as what time my tech got here (time stamps on the pictures from camera) and when he tried to leave the first time and when he came back 5 mins later after I asked him if he even cleaned to pool the first time lol If you would like to FINALLY contact me to discuss this my name is in your system as you can see in your emails and maybe now I can finally get my money back. For the first year and half we were pleased with Crystals Pools and even went out of our way to tip our pool cleaning guy to make sure he knew we appreciated him, however, for the last few months, it has been horrible. We are constantly getting emails to pay for bids on random things they say are wrong (like a pool leak, which we don't have) and when you try to call to get some answers, the rude receptionist says the owners will call back, but they never do. Our pool looks terrible, yellowish, green algae, you name it. The new cleaners they have coming do the bare minimum and stay less than 8 minutes. Sadly, I would NOT recommend this pool company and I'm glad to say we have switched services. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars I would!!! So unprofessional. No one calls back or solves problems. I hired this company about 2 months ago. They are supposed to CLEAN THE POOL. As I have been home each time they have come by or I have watched my camera .... they vacuumed the pool ONCE in the time they were hired, but still never did the rest of the cleaning. As in brushing tiles etc. The last 2 times they came out, they took a picture of my pool and DIDN'T TOCH IT!! This last time (Tuesday) We went outside as he was pulling out of my driveway and asked him "We see you are leaving, you didn't clean the pool?". His response: :Uumm no I didn't". What in the actual! So this company has no problem sending me emails what was "maintained" when nothing was done. Such a joke. I have been calling for 3 weeks asking to fix the problem but this is the icing on the cake. I try to cancel my service for a service that is not being provided and they CHARGE ME today!! This is pathetic. No customer service. Just a sorry from the answering company who always has to call the office who never calls back. This company is a JOKE. I'm still waiting on a call back and a refund for the pool cleaning that never happened. Maybe I'll get a response back! I'm not one to post bad reviews as you can see I'm new here. I'm all in believer of everyone has a bad day. I cancelled their services because it was the second time I had to contact them for incomplete service....the latest one they spent 5 min and 30 seconds on my pool after speeding through the neighborhood (greeted by an off duty police officer). I emailed them to cancel my service. They showed up the following week anyway. I contacted them again to cancel.... They helped themselves to payment from my account for the "5 minute" pool service and the extra service that was supposed to be cancelled. They are not responding to my call or email. read more

Regular maintenance agreement for over a year. Algae bloom explosion turns pool into a swamp. Check security cam and see last week's technician did 0 chemical tests. Call company and they say they'll shock the pool and do follow up cleanings next day. Nobody shows up for the next 4 days despite us calling (never getting a call back) and emailing every day and crystal pools confirming (via email at the end of each day) they will be coming the next day. Finally somebody shows up 4 days late and dumps 2 bottles of chemicals in the pool, leaves and provides zero timeline or explanation for rest of cleaning. Avoid this company! read more

The worst pool service I've ever had. They are non responsive and never answer a phone call. The owner Leo attempts to automate his pool service by sending you text and emails you when they complete their work onsite. If you ever have an issue good luck getting a hold of them. They also do not seem to know how to work on premium pool equipment like Jandy. I had a big weekend planned and was having issues with the spa. I must have called 5 times and left several messages without a response until my company had already left. Then I was instructed to open a ticket by sending an email to a general mailbox. If you don't want to deal with a human and you want sub par service then these are your guys. I definitely would not recommend. read more

I'm not a Yelp reviewer but as a year plus customer of Crystal Pools I feel compelled to defend the company from the last harsh review. No doubt that customer had a bad experience but I find Crystal and the owner Leo to be particularly responsive and dependable. It is the case that they've automated much of their customer interface and that correspondence by email is usually on a 24 hour cycle but they're light-years ahead of the competition.
