Julie was recently certified as a life coach and is in the process of building out her client base…read more As a function of this, I partook in some promotional complimentary life coaching sessions, and I'm really glad that I did! With Julie, she doesn't solve your issues or answer your questions. That's not what life coaching is about. She helps you walk through those challenges and helps you find your own answers, and she does this in a very supportive, non-judgmental way. She then captures those key ideas and possible solutions and both motivates and holds you accountable to take action to get where you want to go. What really impressed me about speaking with Julie is how easy she is to talk with and how very insightful she is. She listens, then distills and clarifies your ideas. Sometimes, it's like she's a human Pensieve (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_objects_in_Harry_Potter#Pensieve)! Expect her to be direct; there's not much beating around the bush with her. You can tell that she means it only for your own good, though, and that makes all the difference. I appreciate that she can get right to the heart of the matter and make you face yourself in the mirror - even if you'd rather look away. For those looking for a little more direction, or a kick in the pants to get you moving on something you already know you want/should do? Julie can help you find that personal gusto you need to get off your duff. Check out her website and send her an e-mail and get ready to make the most of your life! Note: Julie's in the process of relocating to NYC, but she's always been very good about responding to contacts.

Last fall, fresh out of grad school, on the cusp of the big 3-0, and ready for change, I decided to…read morefind a life coach. I had several "trial sessions" with some highly recommended people I found online. After I spoke to Julie, I knew my search was over. She was bright and energetic, and what I noticed about Julie immediately was her insight! She caught on to what I was saying right away - I didn't have to edit myself or slow down to explain where I'm coming from. I felt like we could get right to work. She's a great listener, but she dissects and simplifies things to get to their core. And through it all, she does so without judgment. Initially I contacted Julie about career help. In the process, we've covered everything in between. I once asked Julie how long clients are in life coaching, and she says it varies - some stay for a few sessions, some stay for years. I am going on 9 months with Julie. And while I haven't reached my ultimate "goal," I feel like I'm well on my way. I've discovered so much more about myself, I ended a relationship I had been in for a long time, and found a great, supportive group of friends. Even though this past year has been difficult for me in some ways, it was also one of my happiest and I have Julie to thank for that. Ultimately, a life coach will only help you as much as you are willing to help yourself. If you are willing to really dig in and find a fulfilling life, a life you deserve, she will guide you on that journey.

Lindsay is a phenomenal dating/relationship coach!…read more Because of her I'm now with a man I'm head over heals in love with who feels the same way about me where we both want to spend the rest of our lives together. He tells me I'm beautiful literally every single day. And there's no way I would have been able to have even started being his girlfriend if it wasn't for Lindsay. Lindsay has made such a difference in my life. When I met her I was single and starting to doubt that the type of man I was looking for even existed. About a month & a half after we started working together I met Walter. He is super smart (getting his PhD in Neuroscience), kind & incredibly cute. She helped me through some bumps that I've never navigated successfully in past relationships and helped me deal with issues that could have been deal-breakers but weren't, because Lindsay coached me through it. What I wanted more than anything in the world was the kind of relationship I have now. Because of Lindsay's help, I have it. Not to mention, I'm about 1,000 times happier than I was before working with her & she's helped me with some personal, non-relationship stuff as well. If you're someone who does your homework & is willing to get rid of the things that aren't working for you to get to where you want to be in life, Lindsay is the coach for you. If you're ready to actually have your dream come true and willing to do the internal work it takes to get there, then Lindsay is your woman.

I see all these great reviews and I just don't understand. Unless it's her friends writing them…read moreand as a publicist I have seen it happen. This is especially true if every single review is 5 stars (I'm sure some 4 star reviews will magically appear because I wrote this) I even did a little research and saw a review written by Lindsay for a relatives similar life coaching business, hmmmmm.... I found Lindsay to be immature and irresponsible when I hired her. I was having issues in my dating life and needed help. She offered me a phone consultation which I agreed to and asked me to set a time for this phone call. She emailed me back saying that she'd "love to speak to me" and offered a time that I did not specify. Because I really wanted the consultation I agreed to the time she said anyway. I waited on the day of the consult and heard nothing. I called her number but it was going straight to voicemail. I waited even waited an hour after the consult time and still heard nothing. I finally emailed her again to see what the he*l happened. She emailed back saying "Well, you know how it is, I was busy. I travel you know. Oops sorry". I had adjusted my work schedule for her and this was her excuse. I was livid. Professional adults do not behave in this manor. Does anyone even know what training or background this "woman" has? Some months later I started receiving these cutesy junk emails from her with "relationship advice" videos that any person with a medium amount of common sense could just figure out on their own. I unsubscribed. But about a week ago I got yet another email inviting me to some workshop she's throwing. Seriously, just go away Lindsay.... ************************************************************************** #1. Blowing off clients and especially not offering another time slot for the missed consultation is not professionalism and is disrespectful. It might work in Fresno or wherever your other location maybe but people talk in NYC. #2. 2 new reviews that just happen to be less than 24 hours of you writing this? Lol.
