Crystal did the hair and makeup for myself, four bridesmaids, and two moms - she was amazing!!! I do not generally wear much makeup, so I wanted a more natural look for all of us. We all got airbrush and a light smokey eye and looked FLAWLESS. I felt so beautiful the entire day and was never once concerned about sweating my makeup off (which is amazing, considering we got married on July 1st). In addition to the beautiful hair and makeup Crystal did, she was also SO flexible and easy to work with. A few days before the wedding, I messaged Crystal freaking out: we had to move our pre-ceremony timeline up by a couple of hours - and we really needed makeup to be done sooner in order to get all of our pictures out of the way before our ceremony. Crystal immediately responded and told me she was able to get an extra makeup artist to help her finish in time. This immediately relieved SO much of my stress and was a HUGE help. Crystal did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos earlier this year. She was AMAZING! I'm usually one to shy away from a lot of makeup and was nervous about so much but they turned out BEAUTIFULLY for the photos. My wedding was in the Hill Country and didn't want to bother her to ask her to travel all the way there to do my HMU again but I SHOULD HAVE! I get compliments all of the time on those photos, and I have to occasionally bring myself back to the reality that I don't look that every day, that look is because of Crystal Cook Artistry! Crystal came out and did makeup for my friends and I for a masquerade party we had. The air conditioning was on the fritz and it was the middle of the summer and still for hours we looked flawless! We loved the makeup and painted masks and we were so impressed with how quickly and efficiently she worked and the value of service. Sooooo I'm absolutely not a high maintenance woman. But I want to look like I am. Catch 22, right? Not at all: Crystal had done such an amazing job for my daily grind!! She had done my brows as well as place hybrid lashes on my apparently very thin, and blonde eye lashes (hard to work with I've been told prior). I absolutely can not forget to mention just how GENTLE she was with installing them! Crystal did an AMAZING job last weekend doing wedding party makeup for my friend's wedding. She set up shop in our hotel suite with all her fancy tools and started working her magic. Allllll day long. She was detail oriented, attentive, knowledgable, PATIENT, and super fun to be around.
