I have been with chystal a few years now. She has always done a great job. She has always made an effort to fit my schedule into he week.

I used Crystal's Cleaning Services (Crystal Morissette) for a move out clean back in July 2022. Generally the cleaning was okay but the bathtub was left streaky and unclean. Crystal checked in at the end and completed the bathtub herself, all was fine. Fast forward to December 7 2022. My parents are moving to Coquitlam. I referred Crystal to them and explained to her that the house was empty now that the renovations are complete, so the only things we need cleaned are the floors and the windows. After 2 of her team worked 4.5 hours for a total of 9 hours, I was left with streaky and dirty floors in every single room of the house. Finger prints and dirt on the glass doors and windows, not cleaned at all. Big bag of cleaning garbage and also their lunch garbage left behind for us to deal with. I wish I could post the photos on this review. Not impressed at all, I reached out to Crystal and sent photos. She agreed it was unacceptable and offered to come by again and redo the floors herself on December 28. Crystal reached out on December 26 saying she'd have to reschedule as she was stuck in another province with all the airline delays. I didn't hear from her again until January 4 where again she further delayed the cleaning due to illness. I followed up for an update on January 8 where she booked me in for January 10, but on they day she was supposed to finish the job, she once again rescheduled me. At this point, having been rescheduled 3x and unsure if she'd ever complete the job, I decided to bring up a partial refund. She offered me a refund of 45 minutes, for the time it would have taken to complete the job. If the floors weren't cleaned by 2 people in 4.5 hours... how would they get cleaned by 1 person in 45 minutes....? By this point, my 75 year old father had cleaned the floors himself! I explained to her I need a refund for the work that was not completed in December, NOT a refund for the work she didn't complete today. I requested a refund of $200 (total paid was $450) and then she proceeded to block me on Facebook. I really hate to shame a local small business, especially in these difficult times. I feel that I gave Crystal plenty of chances to redeem herself and provide the services she was paid to do. After already paying a decent amount of money for a very typical service, taking time off work to be there to oversee her work (twice), and now I am left paying out of pocket to get another cleaner to my parents house to clean up the mess Crystal left behind. read more

We are in the end of a move out and my wife hurt her back. We were in a panic to find a cleaner to help out a week before Christmas. Cyrstal to the rescue. She supplied us a great cleaner (Diane) rightaway. They did a great job exceeding expectations. My wife felt they did a better job than she could have in less time. Very Unprofessional I replied to Crystals add on facebook for 'SPECIAL 4hrs cleaning for $100 for July/Aug'. I have 2 kids, 3 dogs, a very small house and my regular cleaner is on vacation, so I asked for an apt in July and two in August. I checked her references and we confirmed the dates. She then tried to tell me the price would only be $100 for the first apt, and $140 for the second two. I referred her back to her add and she decided she would 'honor it.' A few days later sent a message asking to change the date, and another saying never mind. The day before the 1st apt she sent a confirmation, but changed the time to half an hour earlier without asking. One of her cleaners came and did an ok job. Missed my kids room entirely and didn't do nearly as thorough job as my regular cleaner does even when I don't tidy first, but it was her first time here so that's ok. Before the second apt she asked to change the date again, and switch to 2 cleaners for 2 hours. I agreed. The day before the 2nd apt she sent me a confirmation again, that it would be 3 cleaners for 1hr 20 minutes, her and two others. I wasn't keen but I said ok. She send me a message morning of saying it would just be 2 girls, 2 hours. I came home a couple minutes before 11 to show them out and they were gone, door unlocked. Left me a message at 10:49 saying they 'got everything and left the door unlocked'. They most certainly did not 'get everything.' I had tidied the entire house up 90% before they arrived so that they could clean, and there were still things like a dirty diaper, dirty kids clothes and general minor dishevelment as I'd left it, meaning things weren't even moved to dust/clean under them. The house was still filthy and smelled like cigarette smoke. She said they don't smoke and saw a man smoking outside near my house but the house has never smelled of smoke before. However the smell got in, it was gross and not a 'clean smell' when I opened the door. I sent her my complaints and all she did was tell me there wasn't time for all the things I listed off that were completely missed. She told me there was too much CLUTTER to clean. She told me she washed places she clearly didn't. When I asked why she didn't even do the dishes or wipe the kitchen counter, she sent me a link to why hand washing dishes doesn't clean them because the kitchen sink is dirtier than a toilet. I have a dishwasher. She left some of the dishes soaking in the sink, which was still gross with breakfast food on it. The tiny 1.5 bathrooms were clean, except the main bathroom floor, it still had some bath crayon bits my son had dropped the day before on it. I'm writing this review because I feel like I was ripped off and want to save others from feeling the same. I clean my house in between the two week cleanings so it wasn't even very dirty. read more

Crystal is a very hard working lady!Had to slow her down to take a breather....definitely worth every penny!She saved me when she came out to help with move out of our rental apartment.Very thankful to have met her and will definitely use her again!!! read more

such an unprofessional lady. she refused the job the day of. she tried to increase the price on the day the cleaning had to be done. She promised she will return the initial deposit but its been 3 months and she hasn't returned the deposit yet. Extremely unprofessional. If you want peace of mind, stay away from Crystal and hire a professional cleaner. read more
