I couldn't believe how accommodating he was being. I was so appreciative that I didn't even ask how much it would cost. He even gave me a date 2 days before prom to pick it up. I have to admit that when I left I began to worry about the cost of this rush job but when I returned not only had he done an amazing job with the dress he only charged me $40 for the work!! I brought it into Golden Thread (having read so many positive reviews on Google) and Seba suggested removing 7" from the centre of the gown instead of messing with the beautiful uneven details of the hem. No doubt, this was a complicated task but she pulled it off perfectly. She also took in the bodice a bit, and sewed in "cookies" (booby pads) as well. All turned out great - the dress was a big hit. I'd definitely trust Seba for all future alterations.

The kind and patient man running the show also did up my zipper for me after I struggled for like 20 minutes. Upon first entry I was a little nervous, but I held true (mostly because the first place I visited told me it would be about 6 weeks until I got my clothes back). As it turns out I had nothing to worry about. I got my two dresses back in a week, and a $18 price tag hits the spot. From what I can see the work that was done (zipper replacement and shortening the straps) was done well. The only downsides. They don't seem very "professional". I've entered when there was no one there and had to wait quite a while to have someone come down. Also, when my dress was returned it did smell a little like an old man. Still.
