Dive Right In: Splish Splash I was taking a bath…read more... If you're looking for a pool company that takes your aquatic sanctuary from 'meh' to 'heck yeah,' then Swym Wyse is the Michael Phelps of pool perfection. Picture this: dolphins high-fiving each other as they gracefully leap through your crystal-clear water - that's the kind of magic these folks work. The Einstein of Clean: Swym Wyse isn't just a pool company; they're the Einstein of clean. Their field technicians are CPO Certified (Certified Pool Operators), which is basically a fancy way of saying they have PhDs in pool purity. These technicians approach your pool with the precision of a brain surgeon and the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy store - because, let's be honest, who wouldn't be excited about a pool candy store? Trust the Swym Wyse Wizards: The team at Swym Wyse are the Gandalfs of the pool world. They wave their magic wands (or pool skimmers) and, poof, your pool is transformed into a haven of aquatic awesomeness. It's like they sprinkle a bit of fairy dust into the water - except it's not fairy dust, it's expertise. And maybe a touch of chlorine. In conclusion, if your pool is feeling a bit lackluster, call Swym Wyse. They'll turn your backyard into a water wonderland faster than you can say "Marco Polo!" ‍

ASP America's Swimming Pool - ASP around town!

ASP America's Swimming Pool

We have used ASP for weekly cleaning service for about two years and we don't have much of anything…read moreto complain about as far as that is concerned. Brian (our regular pool maintenance guy) is great and knows what he is doing. That being said, we hired ASP for a pool resurfacing and deck refinishing/repainting job that was supposed to be "two days" and it lasted for roughly 50 days. The job site was left filthy and the decking repair that was contracted out by ASP was a disaster. They used the wrong color, left footprints in the paint, trashed everything, and ruined my handrails during their 3rd clean-up process, scrubbing them so hard they rubbed the chrome off and left them scratched and rusty and then blamed us for it and said, "that's how they were when we started." A father-son duo even got into a fight in the middle of my driveway. This of course was unnecessary and freaked my little kids out as they heard the commotion from our living room. Fighting on the jobsite is a joke and should NEVER happen. I showed the owner of ASP pictures of the handrails prior to the cleanup process and I have yet to hear anything back. It has been another month so I guess we are out of luck as I was told at that time, "I don't know how to fix that." Additionally, the contractors that ASP hired to resurface the pool brought all of their children to the jobsite and hung on my gutters like they were doing pullups, ran around my drained pool like lunatics, and left trash in my backyard during their lunch. ASP did come out and clean it up after I provided pictures of the mess but none of that should have been allowed to happen in the first place. As far as the owner of the company is concerned, I specifically wrote him to NOT send anyone else out to my home and that I wanted to see and deal with him directly due to the extremely poor experience that we have had during the entire process. He has yet to step foot on my property and sent out other workers in spite of my requests. They only thing they have been prompt on is billing me $180/month for service, regardless of whether they come out to maintain the pool or not each week. If I was able to break up my star rating into two categories, I would. I would give BRIAN (the weekly service tech) 5-stars and I would give the actual company 1-star due to extremely poor professionalism and delayed completion of work. At this point, there is nothing left for me to do as they refuse to take responsibility for the damage done to the chrome handrails. I'm not sure our experience would be better with another company considering contractors seem to be hit-or-miss in this area but I do not recommend ASP for deck resurfacing or pool refinishing projects. I guess only time will tell as to whether or not the quality of the work will last. Recently, they have increased their price to $225/month for regular standard pool service. We had to part ways.

CONSUMER ALERT - Our experience with Blue Haven Pools of the Gulf was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE for our…read morefamily. Never again would I ever use this company, and under no circumstances would I recommend Blue Haven Pools to anyone looking to have a pool built. Our recent Blue Haven pool project has been one of the most stressful, frustrating, and disappointing experiences our family has ever dealt with. What should have been an exciting six figure backyard project turned into months of construction failures, poor oversight, surprise costs, repeated follow up, and constant homeowner intervention just to get basic work corrected. Before excavation, Blue Haven said the site looked fine. Then after digging started, they tried to add a surprise groundwater pump charge after financing was already in motion. That was the first warning sign. Project management was extremely poor. I rarely saw the project manager, and most days I was left trying to communicate with crews myself, sometimes using translation apps, about serious construction problems. The gunite phase left overspray on my pool house windows and siding. The fourth light conduit was packed with dirt and debris. The skimmer line was also full of rocks and construction debris, leaving little to no suction after the pool was filled. Then came the major failure. The plumbing was installed backwards. BACKWARDS! The main drain was blowing water upward, and the wall returns were pulling suction. This happened during the critical plaster curing period. For 18 days, the pool circulated incorrectly. Their mistake required draining water, tearing up brand new pavers, digging several feet down, and replumbing the system. The result is that my pool interior finish is now stained, rough, uneven, and pitted. The surface literally feels like sandpaper on your feet in areas. What should have been a smooth premium finish now looks and feels damaged from improper circulation and curing issues during the most critical startup period of the pool. During later corrective work, chunks of coping and brick fell into the curing plaster, and I had to get into the pool myself to remove debris. Interior tiles were chipped and ignored. They also failed to install the required overflow until I pushed the issue and contacted the county. Even after they installed it, it still has not functioned properly. The screen enclosure process was another breakdown. My specifications were not properly communicated to their subcontractor. The vendor had not measured, engineered, or pulled permits. I had to cancel that portion and hire another local company at additional cost. I was sold full app control, but after completion I was told more actuators were needed. The automation panel later developed unresolved problems, and when the Omni system went down, the heater I paid thousands for became unusable because it was tied into that system. For weeks now, I have also been attempting to work directly with the Vice President of Blue Haven Pools and his attorneys in good faith to properly resolve these issues. Instead of simply correcting the problems the right way, the process has turned into endless delays, drawn out negotiations, and wasted time over repairs that should have been handled professionally from the beginning without shortcuts. Now, months later, still no resolution. This project forced me to act as my own project manager, inspector, and escalation department. If you value your time, money, and sanity, look elsewhere. Blue Haven turned our dream pool into our family's worst construction nightmare.
